Heat Recovery Ventilation (VMC) StorkAir-ComfoAir-zehnder

sjauquet

Question

Hello everyone,

Just to inform you that a controlling system for storkair and co is being built around a raspberry pi.

This project permits to set the vent mode (away,1,2 and 3) and gives back a json file with all the parameters.

Everything we need to control it trough our HC2

Here is the thread (in french)

Hi All,

I don't want to be thread necromancer but since I'm going to use sjauquet work, described on French forums, I would like to keep everything in his thread.

For a time being, main problem is language barrier - to extract all necessary info from there and prepare some brief tutorial. I would appreciate any help to avoid major mistakes. I've tried Google translator but translation, very often, makes no sense. Therefore, anybody who speaks French is welcome to join the party

Once I achieve some success, I will update this thread... For sure it will take some considerable time.

    Hi All,

It's not a popular thread but I will keep posting. Like I said before, everything takes a time.

A lot of information (technical discussions) you find here:

    and as aforementioned, here:

    .

Before you will be able to connect virtual device to your StorkAir ventilation unit you have to prepare interface.

Brief explanation and required software is on developer's page on GitHub:

    Hardware part is:

     - raspberry pi board

     - 2x RS 232 converters (either Hat - RS232 to UART or RS232 to USB) to connect to raspberry, CCEase or Confosense and ventilation unit (info about Storkair:

), see attached sketch of connections -

Install Raspbian and follow installation instructions on:

or at the bottom of that page

     - it depends on archive type zip or tar.

So far, I haven't managed to run it as I'm missing second RS232 to USB converter - on order

I understand that right connection is StorkAir -> raspberry pi -> and back to CCease. Dedicated server, installed on raspberry will manage connections/requests between clients (FHEM

Still I try to figure out correct configuration of Fibaro virtual device. Hopefully

will help here... And one more thing, FHEM styles don't work - there's no visible effect when you try to swap them.
