I have tried to find any documentation in English which will explain how to program scenes in Fibaro Home Center 2 in much greater depth then what is offered in 19 page pdf brochure issued by Fibaro and downloadable at their web site.

Unfortunately I have so far not been able to find any at all. What would be great would be some kind of manual that explained the overall structure of the programming together with ample examples so that you could easily adopt those and use them in your own house…

Anyone out there who has found anything?

If not, could I just post simple examples of scenes that I wish to use in my home on this site and get help with "best practice" on how to programme these? (e.g. "Turn on one lamp at a certain time of the day and then turn it off sometime later", etc)

I would agree that there needs to be more precise documentation.

For people that have coding experience then the scenes will be much easier to setup as it is almost like sudocode.
For those that don't have any previous coding experience then it would be harder to understand as you have to think logically when setting up the scenes.

For the example you gave you would need:

INTERVAL BASED (the day and time you desire)[Red]

THEN [Yellow]

DEVICE [Blue] = ON

For the scene to turn the light off you would do the same except choose the other time of the day, and change the device option to OFF.

I'm sure there are people on here willing to help :)

You were probably referring to this 19 page document, but just in case you weren't ;-)

It's a very simple scene but it demonstrates some of the concepts.

I agree with the request for more learning material, if possible instruction videos.
