  1. Switches I own do not have "check new firmware" option. So even if there is software problem, I'm stuck with these faulty units. And it does not matter some units work fine for you as there are quite a few people with problematic units, and nobody can be sure how it will behave in his setup. So I would not recommend anybody going with Fibaro. Get something else.
  2. All of these are set to "0". It's simply wrong HW/SW design by Fibaro, which was never fixed. Switch should behave like a switch, even when there is 10-15W LED it is controlling. Well, maybe it was fixed, in new releases (I doubt it), but they never admitted their products having this fault, altough they clearly have it. And firmware is not upgradable Problematic switch info:
  3. No, everything works (as bad) as before. I have Fibaro switches in my whole home , they sometimes need changing physical switch state (on/of) for 3 or 4 times, before light finally goes on. Also, sometimes there is a delay of 0.5 to 1s before light goes on. Sometimes not. When getting rid of Fibaro relay and using only mechanical switch, lights go on/off instantly and reliably. I got used to it.. But if I would proceed with a new installation, would not use Fibaro for sure, as it is too unreliable. Using physical switch + Fibaro relay, I would assume a seamless operation, and fast, and reliable, which is not the case.
  4. Is this new app supposed to work? For me, it shows just empty pages after Fibaro ID login. Gateway is running latest FW.
  5. You are right heating is a very complex matter. My Viessmann boiler (gas) on the other hand is quite simple It has just on/off PINs for thermostat. So, after reading carefully what you wrote, and examining Dave Harisson's script, I think it's better for me to use something like Honeywell EvoHome or Netatmo Thermostast. They both have better (=more advanced) heating algorithms, adjustments and predictions, they also take external temperature into account (equitherm regulation), and are simply more advanced then what I could achieve with my own or Dave's LUA script.
  6. Great explanation Peter, thank you very much! As for TRVs, let's say Fibaro Heat Scheduler will be sending heating schedule to two TRVs, Living Room TRV and Bathroom TRV. Now, can I assume TRV is "closed" when requested temperature is same as or above actual one, ie. there is no water flow? But this behaviour is "up to TRV", there is no "close valve command", right, Fibaro can send? And Fibaro also cannot sent current temperature to TRV, as it has its own measurements (remote unit, like with FGT-001 or internal one, like Danfoss). Now, if I want to heat the bathroom a bit more, boiler will get switched on (how to do this? later on..), but TRV in the Living room will remain closed, as the room would be overheated. RIght? As for switching the boiler, simple on/off swich like Fibaro SIngle Switch 2 (FGS-213) can be used. But how does this work with Heating panel? Do I set it as "boiler control" somewhere and Fibaro knows that when TRV is opened, water should flow, so boiler should also be on? How do you connect these two? Of course you can do this with Lua, but is there any simpler way?
  7. Slightly unrelated question. How does heat panel works with multiple valves, temperature sensors and Fibaro Switch 2 (connected to boiler)? I assume, I can set temperature sensor for each room, link radiator valves to particual temperature sensors, and it temp fails down in a single room, all valves are closed expcept in this room, which is opened, and boiler is switched on? This would be expected behaivour, but does it work like this?
  8. Was this template added in latest release? How are you happy with the valve? Does it report the temperature back to the unit? How long does the battery last?
  9. Right, but reading https://www.fibaro.com/en/products/the-heat-controller/ makes me think Fibaro Heating "solution" does NOT control the boiler, if it is on or off, right? I am using https://www.netatmo.com/en-US/product/energy/ myself, but do not like its dependancy on central cloud system.
  10. Netatmo has two product lines, they control boiler via relay and they have radiator valves. Am I missing something, or can Fibaro do only the latter?
  11. Same here, switches are slow and sometimes not responding even to mechanical input:
  12. Well, by "correct" behaviour I would assume Fibaro would switch on / off the light in the same way and as reliably as mechanical switch does. This is not the case though. So no, in my opinion they do not work correctly. 10 seconds delay or need for multiple mechanical switch presses were not present before Fibaro installation.
  13. Do not have this possibility Those LED lights are built into the ceiling, cannot change the bulb in them, as there is no bulb. Could you possibly discuss with Fibaro engineers, if this could be fixed via firmware update?
  14. Exactly, it works fast when you use those lights frequently, it might take longer in the morning, after not using them for 8+ hours. Which is very strange, as there is a direct mechanical connection between the switch and the Fibaro unit. Seems like a firmware bug to me.
