  1. My incident happened about 2 years ago, and my smoke sensor was sent back to the retailer, with a turral explanation about the problem, as an RMA so Fibaro must have received the unit! The room which the sensor was placed in was smoke filled due to a forgotten pan, and the alarm was dead silence. But before that I had experienced two incidentes with false alarms and there was NO smoke at all. And also I find it is quite confusing to test the fibaro smoke sensor, as you cannot just push a bottom for 1-2 seconds, as on all other alarms in the world for the last 30 years, but you have to hold the button until a short biip sounds and then you need to keep pushing the button for about 3 seconds until the alarm sounds - I seriously cannot understand why the fibaro did this! and didn´t follow the "standard".
  2. Hi, Many users have reported same issues, including me, as you are doing, and there are several post concerning the same issue. Fibaro is playing with peoples life´s, and they should recall all versions of the smoke alarm immediately! They are VERY dangerous !!! !!!!PLEASE ALL, DON´T TRUST YOUR LIFE IN THIS PRODUCT!!!! Either dismantle the Fibaro and install alarms that can be trusted, or put up extra alternative smoke alarms.
  3. could you use an VFD instead of an soft start?
  4. Yes, if it is connected to power, you should be able to pair it, if you are going to use temperature sensors together with it, these must be connected before you pair it with your controller.
  5. Did not even get trough January before my HC 2 got stuck at "staring services" this happened 4 times last year, 3 times Fibaro support had to solved the problem, the 4th time it solved it self after 1½ week "waiting for Fibaro support! I did not do anything, no updates, no nothing! BUT NOW FIBARO HAS MY HOME ON A LOCK DOWN AGAIN! (probably for the next 2-3 weeks) This is not "SMARTHOME" more like "STUPIDHOME" But tough they keep launching new products, instead of solving the problems they have! THIS REALLY SUCKS!!!!!!!
  6. It is a dangerous device, imagen you trust you life in it, I had a similar incident, and I´m sure Fibaro knows about this....

    Set up

I would go around the Fibaro smoke sensor in a big circle, and most definitely not trust my life in them.
  8. They must be in direct communication with homecenter, when removing and adding them.
  9. Hi I have at least 10 of them, and have had them for almost 2 years now, and they work flawlessly. I always remove the device before I add them to the Homecenter.
  10. Hi, Thanks, had tried that but it didn't work, copied the code again and now it works
  11. @MDC Thanks for your answer, but if I want to have different dimmings, let's say between 00:00 and 05:00 I want the dimmer set to 10% and from 05:00 to 08:00 dimmer set to 50% and so on, how do I define that in the scene?
  12. Hi, Could you shortly explain what this scene does?
