  1. Thank you for this, it is very helpful. Cheers ice.
  2. When writing lua scripts, I can't seem to find any documentation about what information I can get from a device. As an example, if I take an RGBW device, I can from within HC2 select the device and it will give me a list of properties - but I have no idea what they will return..... i.e. fibaro:getValue(RGBW_ID, "value"); Where do I get the list of possible 'value' return values from for the RGBW device (and all other devices) so that I can do a comparison to continue my scripts - I can't seem to find any help in the docs for this. Equally, if I want to know if the device is 'on' or 'off' - if this is not listed in the device properties, is it not possible to determine if the device is on or off? Cheers ice.
  3. If you have an HC2 then you could write a LUA script to do exactly what you are asking. I am not sure how flexible the HA bridge is as everything I do from there just calls a fibaro scene and then I do everything I want from the HC2 as it provides much more flexibility. From HA bridge you can also get it to run a script that exists on your server, you could also use this script to perform both actions - probably possible to create a simple bash script to do it. Cheers ice
  4. Well, whilst i haven't worked out why the PUT json commands above are not working, I do have a temp solution I found: Apparently you can call scenes to run as well as execute actions on devices, I created a scene to turn off all lights and use this in HA bridge to run it via alexa: http://user:pass@<fibaro ip>:80/api/sceneControl?id=8&action=start However, it would be great is someone knows how to add the json body to the ha bridge so that I can access more functionality of the HC2. Cheers ice
  5. Hi All, I have the HA bridge setup all nice on my linux server, but I do not know much about REST commands and how to issue them. I have setup HA Bridge to set some devices on/off etc but I just cannot seem to be able to get HA Bridge to send the request to modify a global variable. I have verified that modifying the variable works using the api's at http:<my fibaro ip>/docs However, when I try to setup what I think is similar, it doesn't work, from the picture below, is there something obvious that I am missing? (what I am trying to achieve is to run a scene based on this variable changing - if there is another way to run a scene via the HA Bridge, the please do tell!) Cheers ice.
  6. Glad you asked this question, I was having the exact same problem and this solution worked for me.
