1. Your 'elseif' is incorrect. A month cannot be both >= 11 AND <= 3. Change 'and' to 'or'. Or just lose the 'elseif' line and replace with 'else'. if (currentmonth >= 4 and currentmonth <= 10) then fibaro:setGlobal("StookSeizoenen", "Zomers") else fibaro:setGlobal("StookSeizoenen", "Winters") end
2. @robd If you have firmware 2.3 then you have the new (V2) hardware, which seems to work well. The original hardware, which had various problems, will have 1.x firmware.
3. Apparently three are 2 different hardware versions of this device. The original version has firmware version 1.x - the latest available version is 1.8. The new hardware version has firmware 2.x - the latest version is 2.3. There was clearly some sort of problem with the original v1 hardware. It can only be upgraded to 1.8, it cannot be upgraded to 2.x. i have a v2 device which is used many times each day, and is absolutely flawless. I also have a v1 device which is only rarely used - it does occasionally have glitches but mostly works OK. So if you have a v1 device, you can upgrade to v1.8, but you may still have problems - or return it to your seller. If you have a v2 device then make sure it’s on 2.3. Aeotec support are really helpful, but you will need a z-stick to do the update (I got a generic Chinese one for £5 off EBay). You cannot update the firmware via HomeCenter.
4. Found this on AliExpress. I don't have one, so I don't know how well it works: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/Z-wave-Gas-Sensor-Smart-Home-EU-Version-868-42mhz-Z-wave-Smart-detector/32816615899.html?spm=2114.search0104.3.61.60e045bfSfRU7t&ws_ab_test=searchweb0_0,searchweb201602_9_10065_10068_10130_10547_319_317_10548_10696_10192_10190_453_10084_454_10083_10618_10307_10820_10301_10821_10303_537_536_10902_10059_10884_10887_321_322_10103,searchweb201603_55,ppcSwitch_0&algo_expid=f6591803-b022-4c45-abe0-fb204887f67e-9&algo_pvid=f6591803-b022-4c45-abe0-fb204887f67e

MCO Home make various z-wave sensors. These can measure Temperature / Humidity / CO2 / PM2.5 (particulate matter 2.5 micrometres) / VOC (volatile organic compounds) / smoke / noise / PIR. I don't own any, and do not know how well they integrate with HC2. Anyone have one of these? http://www.mcohome.com/show_list.php?id=15
6. There are a load of useful wiring diagrams on the Vesternet website: https://www.vesternet.com/resources/application-notes/fibaro
7. Have you got a European version? When I last looked, it was only available in USA frequency.
8. I really don't know. We spent last night watching TV via internet, and there were no problems. Good speed on internet connection, and WiFi working fine. But sendPush was not working properly. Today, internet and wifi speed is the same, but sendPush works perfectly.
9. Thanks @Sankotronic yes i was using the correct iOS IDs, and debug statements in the script showed the push was being sent to the correct devices, but the devices never received the messages. Anyway, I deleted/re-installed the iOS apps, rebooted the HC2, cleared browser settings and restarted. It then started to work - sort of. Some messages would get to both iOS devices, some to only one, some to none. And the delay was very slow, up to one minute for the message to reach the devices. Today I tried again, and it's all working perfectly! I have no idea what happened, as nothing has changed.
10. Is this true? If so, can this be fixed please? I have been working on a LUA scene which uses sendPush, but it doesn't work. I just assumed I did something wrong in my script. v 4.131
11. I got one of these a few months back from Vesternet UK. It's a nice little unit - backplate with double sided tape that you can stick to the wall, detachable front part that uses magnets to attach to the backplate. Good build quality, glass front with LED and haptic feedback. Rechargeable battery via USB. I have mine above the bed - the bottom 2 buttons operate electric blanket (my side and her side), top buttons operate the two bedside lamps. Useful for when one of us has has fallen asleep with their light on! This is done via a Fibaro double switch each side of the bed. There is no template for HC2 (as at ver 4.120), but inclusion is simple, and 'out of the box' gives 8 options: short press and long press for each of the 4 buttons. I understand there is also a 'swipe' option for each of the buttons, but I assume a parameter needs to be set to allow this. Not something I will be using yet. Vesternet took this off sale after a number of customers had problems with the battery draining after only a few hours. I had this problem too when I first set it up. My theory is that the unit is sensitive to the USB charger: I had problems when I charged it from a 2.1A charger, but it worked fine after I charged it from a 1A charger. (Or maybe that's just coincidence.)
