    All my HC2 devices work great in HA. I've moved to HA couple years ago and never looked back. I have gradually migrated all automations from HC2 and now I use it as a dumb z-wave gateway. I regret ever purchasing HC2, I should have gone with HCL. Fibaro devices are great, but the software is years behind by now and I don't believe Fibaro will ever be able to catch up. Forget Fibaro and move all you can to HA. This was one of the best decisions I've ever made on home automation.

    Install Home Assistant, connect Fibaro to it. Install ESPhome plugin for Home Assistant. Install ESPhome firmware on your Sonoff device.

    Is there any way to wake up dead devices on Home Center Light? It does not support LUA, but may be it is possible via API?

    Hi! Question: Can I control the outputs on the smart implant independently from the state of the inputs? The manual says "OUT1 – output no. 1 assigned to input IN1" - what does this mean? Would I be able to switch OUT1 to On just like a regular switch (independently of the state of IN1)? Or would it only be switched on if IN1 is in certain state? Thanks! Ros

    Install Home Assistant. It allows to send any video or audio stream (incl. IP cameras) to any chromecast. You can then activate these actions via LUA scenes.

    I had a similar setup a year ago. Got excited at first... then gates opened a couple of times when there was no one at home due to delayed run of the IFTTT applet....

    What is the timing that IFTTT quotes for your location-based applets? Mine says 'this applet usually runs within an hour'.

    I ended up with 5 google homes (minis and hubs). Here are my reasons for going with Google: Better understanding of accents of non-native speakers of English (beats the others in all tests) More languages that any other voice assistant and bi-lingual mode Better integration with IFTTT (I don't have to say 'trigger') All my systems are supported by Google Amazon ecosystem is not present in my country (and no plans for it)

    Hi guys! Is there a way to breach alarm via code or API? Say the alarm system is armed and computer vision attached to the surveillance sees a person. Is there a way to trigger the alarm via code? Thanks! Ros
