Well after not having remote access on android (but fine on web and ios) I now have it working by changing DNS from the recommended google one back to my core router address. Doesn't make sense but works now for me

Hi all. So I have spent some time on this issue with fibaro support and so far to me it seems to be an issue that only effects android If you try remote login into an account that has a lot of devices (ie seems to me to be a timeout issue enumerating all the devices) Can others with the issue confirm the following if you get the same experence; 1. If you log into the app from your local network first then move to a remote network without logging out of the fibaro app it work abet slowly. 2. If you create a local account on the hc2 and only give it a few devices I can login and use without issue with that account whereas if you go to your admin or account with lots of devices it fails to login properly remotely and the app just loads with all the icons greyed out except settings etc. Is this the experence others get?

well the good thing is its started working again, no idea why/how..... anyway thanks @Robert Folbigg for the suggestions.

@Robert Folbigg Only setup as FliRS as I don't have a 24v source (only 2 wire) for my HVAC. I haven't looked at par 15 what should it be? @Robert Folbigg FYI the device was working well last winter btw with the heat panel doing its thing. This year, and the reason why i'm looking at it again, is that the heating panel configuration, and even if I do manual override does not seem to be updating the device. If I try to manually change the temp by clicking on the devices temp setting in the HC2, it sometimes takes 3-4 attempts before it changes the temp.

Hi @Robert Folbigg thanks for the reply. I've tried soft reconfigure, hard reconfig, as well as remove and re-add and it always comes up as not configured unfortunately.

Hello All, I have a Remotec ZTS-500 thermostat as its compatible with my HVAC system here in Australia. I can add the device to the fibaro system ok, but the fibaro system keeps reporting that its 'not configured' It seems to be working, most of the time, but why is it coming up Not Configured? is it a problem? same problem here, its been a problem for some time with no anwers. Local access works fine, Remote access for IPAD/IPHONE works fine (though slow), access via website works fine. But android, NO it STILL does not work!

@matt1981 thanks I havent needed to do that because ios and web browser are fine its just on android its a problem. And on android it works if I leave thw app open after connecting from the lan and then go remote, so this really makes me think its a problem with the app on initial connection when remote.

any news on this one - anyone get it working - its very frustrating.

Hello All, Im having some strange problems with my zxt 120s controlling my Aircons. I havent used them in approximately 9 months as summer is hitting again now. I only use them to cool my house and control the aircons. All the zxts are using version 1.20 of the firmware. None of them seem to have a template in the hc2. The main issue im having right now though is if I change the temp at any stage (up or down) it changes the setting to 'heating'. Alsp on top of that if I set temp and set it too cooling after some time it changes itself to dry air??? Anyway firstly is there a firmware upgrade for these devices, if so where do you get it from and how do you upgrade them, and how do I fix the phantom changing of settings when I change the temp on the devices? the skarotec solution is great btw. none of this talk fibaro stuff which is honestly poor from a user experence, just turn on ac turn off lounge lights etc. Works very well.

did anyone get anywhere or an answer on this one? This is a fustrating problem as I use remote access often but at the moment it dosent work on my android device Weird thing though, if ive successfully connected from home and then go remote without exiting the app I can control everything remotely correctly. The issue seems to be related to signin only. M
