  1. Why so arrogant both of you? I asked how much you would expect to see, not for an elementary physics lesson, or your derision and contempt. The point is 3-7 volts is too high for ghosting and smacks of poor manufacturing quality if it's energising an output that it shouldn't be, by that much. Never mind, I can see what kind of forum this is. Goodbye
  2. That's an unhelpful response. Do you mean to say that your Volt meter doesn't register 240vac ? Mine does.
  3. This may sound like a dumb question, but can somebody tell me... If I connect L & N to a plug and 240VAC wall socket and then use homecentre to switch on Q1, what voltage should I be seeing if I put a meter on N and Q1 and Q2 ? (Currently I'm seeing between 3 and 7 volts when on BOTH Q1 and Q2 when I switch on Q1 or Q2)
  4. I see. So the message in the pop-up that says "The device is now configured" is wrong, and I shouldn't trust it. It is only actually configured when the scrolling window at the top says "Device configuration finished". Got it.
  5. I just got a helpful response from Fibaro Support
  6. For me, it rarely closes by itself. Sometimes after half an hour. The message says The device is now configured Does that mean it IS actually configured and safe to close or it is still in the process of closing?
  7. The problem is understanding what the message means. It doesn't make sense. When is it actually finished? When is it safe to "close" or when should we just wait? or what?
  8. I read the manuals. It doesn't explain this message.
  9. Unfortunately that didn't work either. Eventually, by chance the response of the relay was in sync with my rapid switching and the first exclusion/inclusion worked. 17 more t=o go. At this rate it's going to take hours.
  10. That's even slower to respond. It needs at least 2.5 seconds (assuming it is necessary for the load/light to come on? each press)
  11. Thanks, do you mean lights on and off 3 times? The relay doesn't respond that quickly. Minimum seems to be about 1.5-2 seconds.
  12. I now have the HC2 40cm away - still won't removing doesn't work.
  13. Do you mean closer than any other Z-Wave device? That's going to be tricky
  14. I have lots of Double Switch 2 relays that I need to exclude and the re-include. According to the manual I should be able to do this by putting the HC2 into learning mode and then "Quickly, three times press the S1 switch". I don't seem to have any success with this at all. All my switches are toggle (2-Way Rocker) switches. For clarity, does: "Quickly, three times press the S1 switch" mean the switch needs to be switched on and off three times (i.e. 6 moves of the rocker), or 3 moves of the rocker / 3 clicks of the relay - i.e." on, off, on", or what? Neither seems to work for me. And what is meant by quickly? 3 times in half a second, 3 times in a 2 seconds? The manual also says: I also can seem to get this to work Does the load/light need to be activated 3 times or the button just pressed 3 times? If I click 3 times as fast as possible, sometimes the light doesn't come on, sometimes it does, but none of relays I've yet tried this on seems to work . Could somebody give some guidance please.
  15. Sorry I don't understand what you're referencing in this post? This is what normally shows up for me when there is a low battery (no red border) and then that flashing thing up here:
