  1. Hi Peter, hi forum, haha, you forget to mention that sometimes there are so stupid bugs, that they don´t want to tell to the customers. Or, the programmer nows about it, but support can´t tell in detail. And to be honest, most of the time the users don´t care about it. Even if the system is running stable, they will upgrade.
  2. This could be everything, but for me it seems that they will stop development in the next month and invite "the community" for further development. May be helpful to get cheaper devices, as the price for zwave product seems to be higher then it must be......
  3. Hi, this "sometimes as low as -30deg C" is definitly a problem, also you may alter your reports for 12 hours.
  4. This seems like the old known issue. If you are to fast with exchanging the batteries, the smoke sensor is not aware. Wait some minutes and click the button to drain the condensater in the sensor, then insert again. Also wake up the device to communicate with controller and send actuall battery status. But, as you will receive bad alarms at night, it was a good decision to send them back
  5. Hi, so far the Zniffer colums are self explaining. Just play with one of your devices, wake it up and look at the Zniffer. There is not to much magic to understand the principle. Understanding the whole zwave is another story
  6. Can you give the information of the Smoke sensor? 1 node name: Aeotec ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU manufacturer name: Aeotec product name: ZW090 Z-Stick Gen5 EU
  7. Sure, but I assume it was there from the beginning.......
  8. This is really a helpful hint, thanks for it. Will try it and this may resolve the problems i had in the past with devices not reacting. Didn´t look for cover on or off so far.
  9. Works, thanks for sharing and documentation. Next I have to check my everspring products ;-)
  10. Hi Peter, interesting. I will read here, but won´t help to much. Did you ever see the different speed in communication, like 100k. I know that controller change this dynamic. And I can see it in my Z-Way history. and also in Z-Wave Sniffer. (but I don´t sniffer while having no problems :-) CU

    Set up

Hi, as kroeatschge wrote, pairing isn´t possible with this version. They are battery driven and normal in sleep mode. You may use an external siren and start the siren if a smoke sensor will send an alarm. But, as these smoke sensors are very sensitive this is no fun if you receive 4 -10 false alarm at night ;-)
  12. Hmm, I often have problems following the factory reset with fibaro smoke sensors. Some will some won´t. Must try this for 5-6 times till it work. If you delete the device from the system, do you mean an exclude? Then it should do a factory reset and is ready for include. I´m using also 2 Flood sensors since one year and both are connected via external power supply. But, the battery is in the device and this works in my enviroment. Z-Way and Raspberry
  13. Did you exclude and reinclude them after changing the powersource?
