  1. That one must be made for "dark side of the moon"
  2. Hi Kevin, Presence based on Wifi is a problem... mobile phones go into some sort of "sleep" state so you will not be alble to ping them or detect them on the wifi network all of the time. GPS does not drain your battery, the fibaro GPS implementation does. Without going into scripts and stuff like that to much, this may be a much more simple solution. Create an "Away" scene and a "Present" scene per fam. member, let this scene change a global variable called something like "dad_home_status" to "yes" or "no" Use IFTT ,make an applet which triggers when you leave or enter an area and then connect that to the FIbaro scene. I'm testing this for over 2 months now and it works very good, fast enough that I'm even opening my gate with it automaticly. Good luck.
  3. I already decided to leave..... the company is failing on sooooo many points that I'm not even gonna botter to write it all down (maybe later....)
  4. I have about the same problem.... Just placed a button by the bath in case the light switches of (no motion) Other solution would be a camera with image recognition but in order to test that I need access to the camera showing your wife in the bath
  5. Hmm, camera's not supported, Virtual devices not supported (buttons that is....) Sorry, I have to switch back to the old app, need VD's..
  6. Installed and working... Looks a 1000 times better then the old app... it is not perfect bit I hope this time, Fibaro will update the app every month or so...
  7. Nice, anything about IOS ?
  8. That is correct, what you are talking about is adaptive learning and that is something that is not present in the Fibaro HC2, if you want that buy an external thermostat to arrange the heating.
  9. Hi All, The fibaro marketplace gives a 502 error (bad gateway) I guess https://marketplace.fibaro.com is dead ? (only 1 year after introduction ?) Am I correct or is it just down for now ?
  10. I did exactly the same... Just registering and labeling all the devices behind a desk... no problems.
  11. Use the alarm panel for that, this way you manage the entire "security system" instead of a single sensor which you are doing now.
  12. Ok, not “perfect” but this is a 1 year old house (so thick concrete/isolation/steel) and over 500 m2 large and 14 meters high.... The antenne added 14db gain if I remember correctly... main question is of course if antenne “problems” can cause z-wave engine freezes. Oh and, @petergebruers , I did made some changes to optimize, I'l send you a new devices.json file...
  13. Hi all, I have an external antenna in use with about 15 meter cable attached to it. Range is perfect now, no problems here, but........ From time-to-time I have a Z-wave engine "freeze" problem (see else on this forum) where z-wave totally stops responding. The source of this problem is not yet found... So, (and maybe this is a long shot...) could this antenna be the root cause of this problem ?
