Hi. I’m looking to replace the bathroom termostats. Do you recomend the Heatit z-trm3 with the fibaro home Center 2? Has there been any issues?

Hi. I had to exclude all my z-wave devices and do a factory-reset, and updated to firmware 4.501 before adding the z-wave devices again and since things haven't been working like it used too. I have 14 Heatit z-Wave thermostats that I used to control using the Heating Panel and to avoid a lot of zones I just adjustet the setting for Parameter 6 FHi, Floor max limit so the temperature wouldn't go to high. So on a lot of sensors I could have the FHi, Floor max limit set to 20C, but the heating panel would say 23C. And the thermostats never got beyond 20C. And when I used the Holliday-mode and set the temperature to e.g. 10C the "Your House" screen would update and show that the thermostat was set at 10C. The thermostat says 21C, even do the Heating panel is set to 23 and when i set the manual mode to 12C in the Heating panel nothing happens with the temperature of the devices: The thermostat stays at 21C Is there a bug in firmware 4.510 or am I doing something wrong? When I try to change the temp to e.g. 15C it seems like Parameter 10; CO mode setpoint is changed, (I have to do a "Read configuration" to see the change i CO mode setpoint) and I can't remember it doing that before i updated to firmware 4.510 Can someone point me in the right direction?

My Fiabro HC2 is at the cabin and I have not had the chance to go there yet. But when I frist tried to install them, I tried to install in Security mode, but the devices ended up being "not configured" even if I tried to push the button on the smoke sensor to get it to communicate with Home Center 2. Sent POPP an email about my problem and I got this answer: To make full use of the devices in the HomeCenter 2 you must include them in secure mode. Without secure mode the siren of the device won't work. However the siren only works via LUA script (no siren available in the HC Lite). A light reconfiguration in the HomeCenter 2 can help sometimes. You must activate it and then start a NIF or at least wake up the device so that both entities communicate with each other. It might be that there is no template available but you could send a template to Fibaro and they will include it in a future update. Since the template stores the parameters of the device, you must add them manually if you want to use them. If you don't want to use them don't need to add them manually. You can use the Popp smoke detector as a mains-powered Z-Wave device (works as a Z-Wave repeater then) if you connect it to the Popp external power supply (004100, 12VDC / 500mA). You can connect up to 5 detectors to our power supply. Best regards R. But since I haven't had the chance to go to the cabin yet, I have not had the chance to test some more. If you guys find a way to make this work, let me know.

Found out I need to add them in security mode to get the full use of the alarm function, so I will try to add them again in a few days.

Dis you guys solve this? I had to add them in not secure mode, or else I also got the «Not configured» But even when I added them in normal mode, they did not find a template, so I’m not sure what to do. Could somebody please let me know how to add the popp smoke detector to HC2.

Hi. I'm trying to add the POPP 004001 smoke detector to my Fibaro Home Center2 system. I tried to include them in secure--mode like they do in this link: http://www.z-wave.info/popp-smoke-sensor-in-the-fibaro-home-center/ But when the system was done including the smoke detectors it says its "Not configured" and it looks like this, : And I get at notification that not all z-wave devices are configured: What am I doing wrong?

I'm new to HC2 and the only thing connected to the system is 14 Multireg thermostats (same product as HeatIt) The temperature will be set something like this: Home Temp Away Temp Termostat 1 22°C 7°C Termostat 2 21°C 7°C Termostat 3 22°C 7°C Termostat 4 20°C 7°C Termostat 5 21°C 7°C Termostat 6 18°C 7°C Termostat 7 18°C 7°C Termostat 8 15°C 7°C Termostat 9 17°C 7°C Termostat 10 15°C 7°C Termostat 11 16°C 7°C Termostat 12 15°C 7°C Termostat 13 15°C 7°C Termostat 14 20°C 7°C I tried using the Heating Panel, but since I have a lot of different "Home" temperatures, I would have to create at least 7 different Zones in the Heating Panel. When I then enable the "Holiday mode" I can select 7 degrees as away temp and then thick all the zones. And to turn it off I have to disable each of the 7 zones. I want to find a more effective solution. What I like about the Heating Panel, is that if I by accident change the temperature to say 12: After a few seconds it jumps back to the temperature set in the Heat Panel (here Holliday mode is set to 7degrees): In my eyes it looks like the Heat Panel always "wins" over what temperature is set? Since I want an easy Home/Away button I have tried to create a virtual device with 2 buttons and I wonder if this is correct: Home-code Away-code: I'm going to change the code, so the Icon also changes between the 2 statuses, not only the label name. It looks like this now: When I look at My house the virtual device looks like this: And I have to click the "open?" symbol to click the Home/Away buttons. Is it possible to get those buttons at the "Main" screen? Is it a better way to set Home/Away temperatures then what I'm trying right now?
