Hi everyone, So I was finally able to build my watering system. I used a double switch (with 220V for its own power) and inputted 24V AC for a valve Slolonoied, Everything is working fine, but I'm having a funny issue with the HC3 interface. I have created 2 "Vaulve" devices each is linked to one of the dual switch ports, allowing me to control 2 vaulves. So, My goal is for example to get the "Trees" Vaulve 30 minutes of watering every other day, While the "Flowers" Vaulve works for 10 minutes every day. Here is the thing, under "Garden" I'm adding a new sequence, and choosing the "Trees" device. I'm choosing the time and days for it to work. So far, all is OK. Now, I'm adding a new sequence, let's call it "flower" 10 So what happening now, is that I can only choose days that I didn't choose in the first sequence. days that were chosen on the first one are not clickable. So yes, I can create another sequence for just the "Flowers" with the days that I didn't choose in the first sequence. it's a bit of a workaround but ok. But if tomorrow I want to create a new sequence that runs only on suddenly, for example, I can't do that.. as Sunday is already chosen in one of the other sequences. What is behind the idea of choosing days just in one sequence?

My system has lost connection as well... it's working locally, but the app doesn't connect externally. opening the web connection, login in to the fibaro account is fine, but when i click on remote management/services it hangs, and then the page fails to load...

Hi, Thanks for the answer. Does a relay can do a 100ms pulse ? What did you mean by a relay that reverse polarity? How would I controll that ? By connecting 1 relay to both outputs on the smart implant ?

Hi everyone, I'm trying to use the smart implant to manage my irrigation system. My plan was to basically connect the smart implant NO/NC output to the valve, but there are a few issues. This tap uses solenoid to open / close the tap. it seems, according to the manual that the pulse should be 60-100Ms long. is this something that can be done with the smart implant ? also, I need to change polarity (one open one closes) is this something that the smart implant can do ? I'm adding the requirement of the solenoid on the tap. Thanks in advanced !

Is Israel on the list to be fixed ? And why don't you send a mass email alerting your users that there is an issue in that scale ? Why let them break their heads and wasting their time ?! Sending and email on issue with such scale is the minimum.

Hi everyone, I finally managed to get video to HC3 from my cameras by connecting to my NVR. Now, The preview image doesn't work. but if I click on Preview on HC3 interface i see the image. on the app, the preview isn't working as well. it says: but if I click on it: it's working fine. I don't really care about this. the whole reason I did this was to get email with image when there's alarm. I have created a scene and I do get an email with attachment, but the image file isn't opening. so I am wondering if the preview and this feature try to use the JPEG image rather than the MJPEG one. Any ideas ? Thanks, shay.

OK, so I solved it ! I will write the solution here for others. It seems that HC2&HC3 support only MJPG and JPG. so, what i did is. 1. on the camera GUI itself i have changed the sub stream to MJPEG. 2. then i used the following MJPEG path with the NVR address: 3. under IP put the NVR IP. under MJPG path put the following: cgi-bin/mjpg/video.cgi?channel=1&subtype=2 in the "=channel1" you can choose the desired channel. "subtype=2" needs to stay as is, as the sub stream is what i set up as MJPEG on the camera. 4. i have added this in HC3 by using "other" camera template, used the NVR IP, user and password. and it works! So, this is possible and working great. its completely bypass the need to connect directly to the camera over IP as this is not possible when using NVR with POE embedded.

Hi, thanks for the answer. yea, that solution will work, but I want to use the NVR's POE... I was thinking that there might be a way for Fibaro to connect to the NVR (like the NVR APP does) and get the video feed.. maybe via an API or something like that.

Hi Everyone, I couldn't find any thread on this issue. So, connecting an IP camera to HC3 seems to be pretty simple. what can I do when I have a POE NVR ? I have a Dahua 5XXX series NVR, with POE enabled. so basically, all the cameras connect directly to the NVR, and the NVR switch is the one that provides them addresses. the address pull would be 10.0.0.X / 250.255.255.0 my router is using a different network (that's the way it should be) - 192.168.2.X /255.255.255.0 The NVR is connected to the router, it has internet connection, and I can connect to it and all the feeds. when looking on the add camera option on HC3 it askes for an IP address. obviously, HC3 that is connected to 192.168.2.X will not be able to get to a camera that is on 10.0.0.X so the only way to get to the video feed is if there is a way that the HC3 can connect to the NVR, and not directly to the camera. I find it hard to believe that there isn't a solution for this as many people use POE NVR this days.. so if anyone has an idea, ill appreciate it. Thanks !

@10der I don't think it's something related to my Ac only if that's what you meant. I think it's valid for all AC remotes that have a display. For example, If the current status of my AC is on heat, 28 Degrees and fan is set to HIG. now, i turn off my AC with the remote. I than block the IR on the remote with my hand, turn the remote on ( without turning the AC on as i block the signal) and change the remote to COOL, 22 Degrees and fan low. I than power off the remote, point it to my AC, and click on Power ON, The AC will start on the settings as configured on the remote.... meaning, when I powered it on, it sends all the current state of the remote. I believe that this is true to all remotes that has a screen on them. P.S, when pairing the RM4PRO in the Broadlink app, it asks if the remote is with or without a screen... i guess that its for the same reason..

@Phenix Hi ! Thanks for the great tutorial. everything is working fine with an RM4 PRO. but I do have an issue that I wonder how no one is talking about. I am trying to use this for my AC. now at first, when i used the learning mode, I was getting a really big string for the code. I than realized, that when i power my AC on for example, the remote doesn't send just the "turn on command" it send a complete snapshot of the remote current settings (temperature, mode, FAN speed ETC..) So the code that i take for power on for example, isn't just powering on... this is true to all other commands as well.. is there any way to isolate the commands ? Thanks, shay.

Hi Everyone, I am facing the same issue. although that external unit to reset HC3 is nice, isn't it better to figure out why this happens ? this defiantly shouldn't happen...

I will try to explain. my original question was if it's possible to change the volume of the siren on HC3. because I saw that on HC2 it's not possible. but here, I think that you mentioned the Zwave stick to change the FW version of the siren ? that's not really relevant to my question I think, but that's also interesting one. So, i know that fibaro devices get's upgrade automatically from HC3. devices that are not fibaro will not get updated by HC3 ? so if i want to change FW version for some reason, i must get that Zwave stick and Flash them with a PC ?

the whole difference between HC3 to HC3 is that you don't need the stick to do it with HC3. no ?
