Hi all, Today I was sorting my cables and I have accidentally switched off HC2 power supply... Then my HC2 was not able to start (all leds lights fade off after booting, exactly the same problem described here). The good thing is that I have fixed it booting without the recovery USB. Then I was able to boot into recovery mode and I have restored a cloud back-up. Very easy! But now I have a broken / corrupted recovery USB. If I plug it, then my HC2 is not booting... If I remove it, then I can boot perfectly. I have been trying to restore a neutral Image (ISO) of a recovery IMG (great tutorial here about making a clone or restore a backup). This way seems to work because unique HC2 dongle key is preserved on USB pendrive firmware, but I can't restore it anymore... It takes like 1 hour and this is not possible I guess. I am thinking that my USB is physically broken, not only corrupted. So I would like to ask you for your help and experience: 1) Can I buy a single new recovery USB from Fibaro? I don't want to send my HC2. 2) Can I "live" without that USB? I mean that I have been able to restore perfectly from cloud... I guess that this is always better having a USB, but I am asking where is strictly necessary having it? In what circunstantes should I have one USB yes or yes? Thank you very much for your help

You should make a scene that trigger pushing that button on your Sony VD. This VD will do nothing until you press a button... What would be the condition that trigger this action? This is the first thing to define, then create this scene. IE if sensor if breached, then push button X on this VD, or whatever you want to make

Hello all, I am sorry to all because delay. I haven't seen notifications here! (I thought I would be informed by email, I don't). I have fixed the "left" button... It was a very silly mistake by my side. Sorry. I have added a few small things like "No Image" button (very useful for OLED screens in order to avoid burning ons screen) and Apps and English translation. For me it's working at 100%. Hi, I would like to share this Virtual Device for Android TV (Oreo 8.0) SONY Oled AG9. Maybe it is working for another TVs as well. If not, you just need to find the correct codes. This VD was made from big help and examples of @StarkJohan so I was basically improving a little bit more his examples. @Fodder1 was also looking for this solution. I have tried to make this VD as complete as my original Sony remote. 1st) you need to know IP address of your TV: Home > Settings > Network > Advanced settings > Network status IP address 2nd) you need to enable remote connection here: Home > Settings > Home network > setup IP control > enable "Authentication Normal and PreShared Key (PSK). Set “0000" in this trial. If you need your TV codes you can get it using terminal console. Hi all, I have been reading an hour here and I can't find a "standard" way for controling Air conditioners. Could you please help me to sort this out this info? I would like to buy some machine, but I preffer to make something more standard. What I have learned here is that: - Almost any brand doesn't have API REST support. --> Is that correct? - Some brands are not using standard IR codes, so it is not possible to control them by Globalcache, Remotec, Broadlink RM2, mini...) --> is that correct? - There are some middle-point equipment that make like gateway due this lack of standards, like Intensis home, Ambiclimate, CoolAutomation --> is that correct? My ideal goal would be to control easyly from a VD from Fibaro... If not, I can try to control it by Broadlink RM2, but I guess I will lose some a lot of useful thiings like back return information etc. Do you recommend any brand in particular? I need to start from scratch so I would really like if you can share with us your advice Thanks a lot in advance

I can recommend you that you can configure and test cameras on your usual phone, easily and realtime testing... then EXPORT config to Google Drive. Then IMPORT config on your Android TV box with ease. Super easy. Please share your hardware (I am still using old phone Huawei P8 lite), I think TV box is best solution as it is wire connected. Thanks
