  2. No BT is just for to discover your plug when adding. Not all routers can handle every device and stear to right 5 or 2.4Ghz band even when some devices works fine. Try to reset Wall Plug and before adding to Homekit got to your phone settings and add it first to Wifi then you can try to add it to HomeKit.
  3. Just be sure that you are adding it to 2.4Ghz Wifi band
  4. Yeah, that is why I think one reset can maybe make difference beside firmware update
  5. I just meant that I haven't made any resets together with latest firmware update and sometimes it makes difference. Now after this factory restore if anything happens again I 'm going to have no choice other than returning mines too.
  6. Hope that it was just a temporary issue. Only time will tell
  7. I have 5 of those. 4 is still working without any issues but I had issues with one. First time when it disappeared from homekit it was enough just to restart homekit hub to get it back into homekit. Second time that happened restarting homekit hub doesn't helped so I reseted it to defaults. After that so long everything is good but I'm keeping eye on all of them.
  8. Happened to me too, can you see if it is still on Wifi network?
  9. I have 5 of them without a single issue after latest firmware update but maybe it is still to early to say anything and be sure
  10. Disonnected just from homekit or from yout Wifi too? Have you checked in your router or directly Wifi status on your Wall Pug ?
  11. One of most wanted updates this year, thanks!
  12. If you can't wait but you like them, you can always buy them back after Fibaro relase the firmware update to resolve this issue. Personally I'm going to wait and give them some more time.
  13. No problem, don't forget that Wall Plugs operates only at 2.4 GHz 802.11n wifi band (not 5Ghz). Good luck.
  14. If you need to control a Wall Plug manually you don't need a Apple TV and you can do that by using only a iPhone or iPad because they are communicating directly with Wall Plugs trough wifi. Apple TV works like a hub for HomeKit but only for executing automated rules and for remote access and it uses Wifi too (or ethernet) so both Wall Plugs and Apple TV needs a good wifi network coverage.
  15. @Sjekke This is about HomeKit version of Wall Plugs not Z-wave @Acker Yes, repeater can help with Wifi signal because HomeKit version of Fibaro Wall Plug works with ordinary wifi radio like any other wifi device.
  16. In FibaroHome app go to your Wall Plug and choose settings icon (upper, right corner) and then go to accessory info. There you can see if there is any new firmware and version number of your current firmware.
  17. In the begining when I was monitoring this problem I was also using Wireshark but in my case there was no difference. We should maybe test Wall Plugs on a fast channel (with no auto switching)
  18. I have some new obserwation. It seems that Wall Plugs always loose first connection only with HK but they stays visible on Wifi for some time then after several hours they loose Wifi connection too so maybe pure Wifi is not the reason or not the only reason for this problem.
  19. Interesting, my plugs died 2 times since firmware update. Last time today.
  20. Hard to tell but I have no additional access points on my network just on router and my plugs stays connected longer now with new firmware but there is still a problem after about one week. Before they never stay connected longer than 3-4 days.
  21. In my case, one week after firmware update all plugs so far work fine Sad but true, that was to early to be happy about this. Last night three of my plugs went offline and loose connection exactly as before. It seems that they after latest firmware last longer than usually but it doesn't matter because the connection issue is still not resolved and I can't trust them that they will stay connected when I'm not at home. Interesting if there is more people that still have the same issue after firmware update. Fibaro it is most important functionality in Wall Plugs that they always stay connected and you should keep working on this issue as soon as possible.
  22. Apple Home app dosen't support every custom parameter from every company and thats why youn need Fibaros app or apps from other brands, Home app support only a few basic standard commands as on/off for power plugs. Every company are using often many different custom parameters just for own products but there is many other universal HomeKit apps there you can use almost every parameter to create rules.
  23. I think it is very unlikely that Fibaros z-wave devices can conflict with HomeKit devices. Try to test it by shutting down your z-wave network for one day and see what happens. For automated rules in HomeKit you need always a hub. To make a iPad work as a hub you need to activate this. See this Apple support page (there is every information you need so read them all): https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT207057?cid=tw_sr Make sure that you use only one iPad as a hub. Sometimes using many HomeKit hubs on the same network can creates some problems.
  24. You don't have to open any app to execute any rule in Homekit. If You have problems executing rules with wall plugs it seems that the problem is instead in your HomeKit setup. What kind of device are you using as a hub for Homekit rules, AppleTV4, iPad or HomePod? I'm using a lot of rules on my plugs and even those rules you describe (switch off the power when it less than 2w) and never had any problem with any of them as long as wall plugs stays connected to Homekit and if they loose connection (hope that dosen't happen again after latest firmware:) opening Fibaros app or any other app can't help anything. Do you have problems executing Homekit rules with other devices than Fibaros wall plugs too?
  25. Personally I can't comment anything yet because my plugs used to go offline only after 3-4 days of working so I need to wait some more days to see if it was really fixed in my case in latest firmware 5.4.1.
