  1. The new UI looks good, however is it a polished look with the same questionable system underneath?
  2. After all these years of battling the HC2 software they finally come out with an improved (TBC) version! You just need to pay $499 for it...
  3. Has anyone used an Fibaro RGBW module and integrated it into any sort of music reactive system? I have had a controller running for a while but never really does anything special with it. I have raspberry pi in the system if it has to go custom coding. Cheers Mat
  4. Many thanks! It looks good. Could you tell me if you think it's possible to assign the hold button feature to map to an RGBW channel?
  5. Excellent, thanks guys. I'm going to order one and try it out. I can use it for other things if it doesnt work. (I wonder if it's waterproof to use it in the hot-tub haha)
  6. Thanks for the reply! It looks like a good idea. Looking into it, The fibaro keyfob might be a better option as it has up to 30 buttons. (Single click, double, triple etc) This means i could map buttons to change colours. Is that possible in the coding to mix colours with buttons so you would hold one button for R and it turns the red channel up, and one for B (blue) etc? Also, as i'm going to be quite far away from the HC2, does either of these remotes use the mesh network created by the HC2? Would i have any problems with that? Cheers Mat
  7. Hello all I have a fibaro RGBW setup in my house and it works great. However i have another application that needs something similar but ideally requires a remote to change colours and also start scenes. Basically this will be put round a wooden cabin outside. I dont want to use a phone to change colours or scenes etc so a basic remote is required that i can change the colour with and also start/stop fibaro scenes. Does anyone know of anything that will work? I'm open to any manufacturer as long as it works with the HC2. Cheers Mat
  8. Yes, use it just the same as the HA solution. Can't remember if she says "ok" or not though. When i signed up for my fibaro ID i went through the process of setting up the remote logging etc and it changed my normal admin account details to my new fibaro ID account details. My old admin account no longer exists so maybe this is your problem.
  9. Oh ok, I will continue to use HA bridge for just the scenes then. Thanks!
  10. I have installed and it worked straight away. No problems with any of the names as reported. Its slower to respond than HA bridge sadly, a couple of seconds slower I would say. I also have no scenes discovered, is that to do with the new "alexaprohibit" text as reported on page one? Mine are old scenes so I doubt have this.
  11. I have been advised that the wall controller will not work with the fibaro module which is what i expected. How else are people controlling the module other than using their phone? My wall switch turns off my transformer (and the module) so i would need to put more switches in using the IN 1-4 connections to control it.
  12. I use vesternet for everything, Yes they are great! However still £50 a door or window
  13. They look great but are a little pricy here in the UK!
  14. I'm just finishing off an RGBW install and slighting overlooked the control aspect of it. All i allowed for was a momentry switch to turn it on/off and dim. This is fine but now i have had a play with a module i realise that you can control the 4 channels with different switches. Thankfully i have the option of installing a new switch with easy access to the module but would like something nicer than just 4 switches on the wall. Can the fibaro controller be connected to something like this? https://www.led-lighthouse.co.uk/led-strip-lights/led-rgb-colour-controllers/wall-mounted-led-rgb-w-touch-controller-12v-or-24v This is a lovely looking wall plate but i think the LED strip needs to be connected to it directly and not just the control inputs of the fibaro module. Thanks Mathew
