  1. Hi, I started 2 years ago with Fibaro and added continuously z-wave devices to my system. I can do all the regular stuff, probably like most people... turn on lights, use Fibaro as an alarm, control my heating, etc. But the more I can control things in my house.... the less I feel that I'm building a really 'smart home', which was my purpose from the beginning. So I wonder. How smart is your house? Up to what degree does Fibaro take smart decisions for you? What are the things you used to do manually and are now automated through Fibaro? What is your house able to do now that it wasn't in the pre-automation era? Many thanks in advance.
  2. Hi, Is there a way to set the "controlled device" for a virtual device? Using a Fibaro 2x1.5k switch, I can set the controlled device to 'lighning'. As a result, the switch shows nicely in the app. Is it possible to do the same with a virtual device? Thnx.
  3. Great, thanks for pointing me the right direction. Just ordered one. It seems like they even have up to 24 relais modules, which makes switching a lot of things quite a bit cheaper then using the Fibaro switches. I'll post my findings when I get to play around with for future reference.
  4. Excluding the switches, around 30 with a bunch more that are still in the box, waiting to be installed. I mean with this "hardware devices", not as HC2 sees them (like 1 hardware motion sensor are actually 4 devices in HC2 I think) The underfloor heating switches are 9 2x1.5k modules and I have a bunch more of those 2x1.5k's controlling lights and such.
  5. Hi, I have quite some devices (like my underfloor heating valves) that are switched through the Fibaro 2x1.5k switches. Now, all the wires run back to the electricity board and there I have these Fibaro modules turning things on and off. My HC2 sits next to these modules. I wonder if there are no devices that do the same (toggle switch) but can be controlled through an API instead of wirelessly. It would cut down on the z-wave traffic for sure and I could perfectly control it through my HC2. I can't really see any negative side to it. Anybody know such a device or have any experience with it? Regards, Xavier
  6. I just started playing with calling the API for my new LIFX lights and I'm running into a problem sending over the data in the put. I know how to send for example this and my lifx light turn nice red.... { "power": "on", "color": "red", "brightness": 0.5, "duration": 5 } But LIFX changed their API and now I need to send over the kelvin and saturation like this: { "power": "on", "color": { "kelvin": 9000, "saturation": 0 }, "brightness": 0.5, "duration": 5 } How do I structure the httpclient data part? I tried multiple ways but no luck. Many thanks in advance!!
  7. If I connect it to S2, then the Q2 light turns on. Is there a way to disconnect the S with the Q?
  8. Is it possible to use a relay switch as an input only? I have a wall switch connected to S1 and a light connected to Q1. Everything works fine. When I toggle the wall switch (manually or in hc2), the light turns on. Now I don't want this light to turn on when I toggle the wall switch. I want only to turn on another light (relay module) and the light connected to Q1 should stay off. Many thanks!
