  1. @Jamie mccrostie No. This option was not available on the version my HC2 was running (V4.110). Yes old, but I had my reason why I was running that version, and ff it did have this option I have not done it. @Abacus I think 5 or 6 years old. @RH_Dreambox Could be, but probably more. We had a big leakage here. The unit was about 2 days completely submerged underwater
  2. Okay. My HC2 died some days ago, and I've no warranty on it anymore. a new HC2 is on it's way, and should be here next week. I understand that all my sciens and virtual devices are gone, but will I need to reinitialize every z-wave module (around 60) again? If so, it's going to be a hell of a job :-(
  3. I'm not behind the Fibaro system, but basically it's like this. (note that all commands are entered in the webbrowser, and you only need to do this once as the "commands" are saved in the DoorBird itself) Motion Sensor: Start scenes 61 http://<IP Adres of Doorbird>/bha-api/notification.cgi?url=http://<IP Adres of HC Fibaro>/api/sceneControl?id=61%26action=start&user=<fibaro user>&password=<fibaro password>x&event=motionsensor&subscribe=1 Someone pushed the button: Start Scene 64 http://<IP Adres of Doorbird>/bha-api/notification.cgi?url=http://<IP Adres of HC Fibaro>/api/sceneControl?id=64%26action=start&user=<fibaro user>&password=<fibaro password>&event=doorbell&subscribe=1 Open the door from Doorbird:. Device 245 will be switched to ON. http://<IP Adres of Doorbird>/bha-api/notification.cgi?url=http://<IP Adres of HC Fibaro>/api/callAction?deviceID=245%26name=turnOn&user=<fibaro user>&password=<fibaro password>&event=dooropen&subscribe=1 To access the video stream within HC2 use the following settings for adding a camera: Camera Model: Other model JPG path: bha-api/image.cgi MJPG stream path: bha-api/video.cgi Obviously you will also need to set the IP, username and password More info about the DoorBird api can be found here (pdf) https://www.doorbird.com/downloads/api_lan.pdf?rev=0.16
  4. The DoorBird Android app works perfect with video and audio (and opening the door) With the Fibaro app I'm only able to get video to work (opening the door works also) I only have Android devices here, so can not test it with IOS, but I'm sure this will work fine as this is the main reason of getting the DoorBird.
  5. I have my DoorBird integrated with my HC2, and yes it works really well. (Video yes, but no audio!) The last firmware for DoorBird does now also allow SIP too. I did some testing with this and got it working together with my Asterisk (FreePBX) working. Basically when someone pushes the button on the DoorBird, my home phone system will ring, and when I answer I can talk to them. Till now I do not have any regrets getting a DoorBird.
  6. I would like to auto arm my alarm when no movement has been seen for lets say 12 hours. I'm thinking about saving the last movement time in a global variable, and compare this every minute with the true time to see if 12 hours have been passed. If so, set alarm. Any other suggestion on how this could be done? Any help appreciated!
  7. Well I could not wait anymore and got myself a DoorBird. ( https://www.doorbird.com/ ) This thing is amazing! Some friends of mine have a Ring, but they come not even close to the performance of the DoorBird. (they all want to get a DoorBird now) When the "button" is pushed I get a notification on my phone instantly! (With the Ring it sometimes takes up to 5 seconds. ) The voice and video from the DoorBird are also superior compared to the Ring. And yes. I do get video in the Fibaro app! I'm using a Anviz M5 as Fingerprint & Card Reader ( http://www.anviz.com/en-us/product/View/id/277906.html ) for entering.
  8. Thank you all for the info. It's not because the Fibaro box does not work. or does a bad job. I'm not having any issues with it what so ever. The problem for me is that they are forcing me to start using the ID login option. As I have "rooted" my box, and after doing some digging in it I managed to kill it (for now), but I'm sure that this will be harder to do with coming updates! Same thing for the app (Android). If I update it now, I will need to use the ID login to keep using it. I've got 2 options. (1). Do not update the HC2 and app anymore, or (2) start using another hardware product. I'm looking at option 2 now.
  9. Unfortunately I'm not really happy with the way things are going at the moment with the ID thingy and my HC2, so I'm looking for an alternative. I'm not interested in a complete system. One of the reasons being is that I want to be in control, and not all of a sudden getting "forced" to do something I do not like (I know. I do not need to update.. That is... for now!) As I have some "old" Intel NUC's here I was thinking of building my own controller and using a NUC as server for the Domotica. Anyone here who could suggest to me what software to use? PS: All the Domotica stuff in my house is Z-wave (Fibaro).
  10. Never mind... Restarted the RPI and all is working fine again!
  11. No clue what happened here. Till yesterday all was working fine, but today when trying to start npm I get the following: npm ERR! Linux 4.4.9-v7+ npm ERR! argv "/usr/local/bin/node" "/usr/local/bin/npm" "start" npm ERR! node v4.2.1 npm ERR! npm v2.14.7 npm ERR! code ELIFECYCLE npm ERR! 12. I asked the DoorBird team about the SIP. They told me that they are updating the information regarding SIP regularly on http://www.doorbird.com/sip HC2 is using a very striped down version of Asterisk. Theoretically it would be possible to get the HC2 to communicate with the DoorBird by SIP
  13. ColdFusion as in .cfm as in Adobe?
