  1. Hi guys I need some help again I'm new in using a rest api ... so have some basic question ... In below example, I have found the right information in a Virtual Device ... and want to change a label ... but somehow it is not writing back the .. any idea what I'm doing wrong ? --- example:= SCENE local http = net.HTTPClient() http:request("http://127.0.0.1:11111/api/virtualDevices/257", { options = { method = 'GET', timeout = 2000 }, success = function(status) print(status.status) if status.status ~= 200 and status.status ~= 201 then print("failed"); end print(status.data); --- current Info local jsonTable = json.decode(status.data) print(jsonTable.properties.rows[12].elements[1].caption) --changening caption jsonTable.properties.rows[12].elements[1].caption="Off3" --sending it back local response, status, errorCode = api.put(status.data, json.encode(jsonTable)) end, error = function(err) print('[ERROR] ' .. err) end })
  2. Think I found the problem as some of the code gets disrupted when I copy this to this forum .. l have added a txt file with the full code
  3. Hi Thanks and very interesting as I do not have this error myself
  4. done, I have updated my code in earlier post (see above)
  5. Think I have solved most of them ..and everything is working fine (since this morning)
  6. Hi all, Apologise for my delayed response, but was very busy this week, please see my update above.
  7. Hi Twannie, this is a separate scene, and you need to "delete or disable" the code in the VD and I added the following code to the "refresh button" in the VD -> fibaro:startScene(442); -- start: Buienradar (refresh) Scene and replace 442 with the right scene number,
  8. All, Did manage to spend some time to update the code, it still needs some work but it looks likes it works again -- added my Buienradar VD 2020-08-23 *** UPDATE BETA 0.3 *** Buienradar.vfib Buienradar beta v0.3.txt
  9. All, (draft note) I think I got it working again (very beta code) , it is a combination of old buienradar (thanks to boerremk!) and the code from D-Vine (thanks guys !) Working progress / tot do: - generalise the the scene as I have added soms "persona extensions" / modifications. - rebuild the -> function latlon() -> (for now hard coded in scene) - restore error messages -> disabled most of them - cleane code _> code is still a mess, was not the first priority - implement the self-run so it will refresh's every e.a 5 min -> for me not a prio as I use Sankotronic FTBE v 1.3.0 to schedule a refresh run every 5 min. If people are interested or if we can find a way to work on this as a group I can share my (bata) work
  10. Dear Fibaro, We count on you ! (no pressure
  11. Hi All, Not sure if this is the right track, but I was wondering, or is it just me, but the VD Buienradar has stopped since Tue Jul 21 13:39:26 2020 ? I think it might have to do with a change in the buienradar URL ??? any thoughts or suggestions ? Thanks !
  12. Hi I had the same problem, the trick for me was to close port 80 on my router. Port 80 was "forwarding" (all) traffic to my Fibaro HC2. (btw I was not aware that this was not needed to connect from outside the WiFi network (= internet) Hope this will solve the problem
  13. Same here: Push notifications does not work anymore om any device any solution =/ idea what might've happend ?
  14. Fully agree with Sankotronic, and also very disappointing (I would almost say, unprofessional) towards a very loyal user community that had a lot of patience with the Fibaro developing-road map so far . It tells (me) a lot on the maturity level of this company. Fibaro, think you need to rethink the way forward and make sure you are not going to lose (faith or) your customers on where this brand was build on ! Sincerely, Patrick
