FI9805W is natively producing an H264 stream which is not supported by HC2.

But there is a workaround. Refer to this post

Please login or register to see this link.

and :

- apply from your web browser the cgi command that change the 2nd stream (substream) to MJPEG :

Please login or register to see this link.

address:port/cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?usr=admin&pwd=(set your admin password here)&cmd=setSubStreamFormat&format=1

- change the paths for JPEG & MJPEG streams :

URL JPG : cgi-bin/CGIProxy.fcgi?cmd=snapPicture2&usr=admin&pwd=(set your admin password here)

URL MPEG : cgi-bin/CGIStream.cgi?cmd=GetMJStream&usr=admin&pwd=(set your admin password here)

  • Hi ardillon,

I've tried the methods you mentioned. It seems to work for JPG but not for video stream. And the iPad does not show any picture too.

I'm very frustrated with this HC2. There are too many limitation.
