How do you use Binary sensor?

Hey guys, after long time I played a bit with my binary sensor, which I never got to use. In the office I usually do only two things - start and stop the radio and turn on/off light scene. So I connected 2 cheap switches to In1 and In2, I connected small RGB

I use it for sensing power outage in our house. I made small device see picture bellow. Of course same can be achieved with door/window sensor since it is battery powered (no need for UPS) and can be placed anywhere in the house . All you need is one 230V relay and fuse to protect it and door/window sensor. You can connect relay contacts to door/window sensor input and that's it. That is also good solution and is cheaper than using binary sensor with small power supply. I just used what I had av
