Just posted in a message "cash" rather than "cache". Strange how when things are not working well, you think about how much you have invested:shock:

I don't want even to think about how much money I invested in HA even I have occasionally some trouble with the system.

It crashed once when I was away from home and my wife and kids came back in the evening to dark home. Luckily my wife is resourceful so she just restarted HC2 and everything came back to normal. Besides I installed system in the way that we can still do everything manually if box die on us.

I have few door/window sensors that constantly giving me headache. They just drain battery too fast and HC forgets to warn us about that so they just stop working.

I have one Fibaro motion sensor that is breached every time when wakes up even there was no movement in the room.

I had to restore system after including Aeon multisensor gen5 and restarting HC because more than half of the sensors where reported non configured just like that. I'm not sure if Aeon multisensor is to blame but before including it I restated box many times without any problems.

But most of the time system is working just fine and it just seems that "cash" is not spent in wrong "cache" :D

Problem is that most of the time it works. At least when it does not work my wife realises how useful it is. She even came home in the dark and cold and went up into the attic to restart it every evening last week,

Same here, only that we don't have to restart it so often, actually once a month. Also I keep box in our living room so it is really easy to press that button. My wife also don't complain because she is the reason that this box came to our home. I had only some Philips HUE lamps at the beginning but she liked them so much that I had to install them all over the place. Then she started complain that she has to stand by the blinds switches every morning and evening and asking if I can do something about that.

    So I did it :)

Most of the time sounds familiar... The problem is as time passes the system is growing both in size and in the way it integrates with my house and my family. I long for the time when I can think back on the old days when the system had to be nursed and then would work most of the time...
