[SOLVED]Communication problem wall plug

TRicky

Question

Hi,

Since (about somewhere  V1.110) I have this strange behavior.

I have a Fibaro Wall-plug added, since a long time, to my Slave HC-2. This is working normally in my Slave HC-2 but imported into my Master HC-2

it keeps on telling me: 'Communication Error'. Very strange......

First screenshot is from the Master HC-2

Second screenshot is from the Slave HC-2

Is the communication error a permanent or an intermittent error?

Don´t know if this is applicable to you, but...

I have logged an intermittent (approx 5% of communication caused this) communication error bug to Fibaro (#75656) that I have tracked down to be related to AES encryption. Including the device without encryption and the problem was gone. This was logged when running 4.110 and Fibaro took it to backline.

Peo

    Hello,

@TRicky, was the device included in security mode?

No, this wall plug was included in standard mode.

Last night I changed the location closer to the HC-2 and no change in the reaction.

I will try to exclude it and include it again, let's see what happens......

    Update:

I deleted the Wall-plug in my Master HC2, not in the slave.

I imported the Wall-plug back into my Master HC2 and now it's showing normal again

    and is working properly.

    Hello,

Great to hear that! So there was an issue with importing the device. I am happy that it has been solved ;-)

  • HI @T.Konopka, it was a  issue with an already imported device. After re-importing the issue was solved.

At the end, not a really big issue but I just wanted to mention it......
