Hue Ligt off after one minute

Robert66

Question

When I put on a wall socket then one of my hue lights is going on. When I don't want it because there is enough daylight.

Is it possible to make a scene, so when I put on the wall socket, and the light is going on, the light is going out after one minute by example , but only before less say 3:00 pm.

Would be great, so I don't have to put if off every time manually.

I do have scenes where I switch on corridor light:

if it is cloudy and 90 minutes before sunset, then switch lights on. Unfortunately the or with brackets does not really work, so I have many scenes for this :-(

if it is sunny and 60 minutes before sunset, then switch lights on

all done with block scenes

So you can do similar to turn off if it is sunny only but not if it is cloudy

Hue Lights bulbs act that way.

Cutting power off and on make the lights go on.

The Hue Go, Hue Bloom, Hue Iris...etc don't have that.

About your scene...

You want to turn off the socket or only the lights ?

Both can be done in a scene.

249 = hue light

If you need more info how to do it just let me know

  • It's the Philips Hue Iris. I put some power on the socket and the light goes on. No problem when it is dark, but I don't need it by daylight. When I can use a scene with something in it like...when it's before 5 PM then put off the light after one minute, or less, doesn't matter if the lights goes out it is ok:-).. don't know how..I can set up the time of course before 5 PM and the Iris is going on, but then I have a problem..how to setup this with more conditions? By example fiber home center 2 has to recognize first the light went on..then what's the time? Is it before 5 PM? Turn off the light within a minute(by example),. I can use a fibers wall plug of course but that cost me 65 euro's again..

    Try this one.....

    I just copied and paste from a simple scene with a few adjustments.

    247 = your hue light

    Light turns off after you set it on but 15 minutes before sunset it stays on.

    What time does the light have to go off in the evening ?
