Dimmer 2 Fade out settings

Guest Bastian

Question

Guest Bastian

Hi,

i had installed a few days ago my first dimmer 2. It works fine with my in wall LEDs.

But one question; If i turn off the light with the dimmer the LED lamps "fade out". I search an option to disable the fade out effect and ant to have a "switch off, lamps get off immideately.

Is there an option/parameter to turn off this fade out effect?

Thanks and best regards

Hello @Bastian!

Welcome to our community!

Unfortunately, it is a "combined" behavior. If you want the lights to turn off immediately, you have to change the parameter 32 to 1:

Then, you will loose the ability to dim the lights.

You may want to experiment with Parameters 7 and 8. Set both to 0 and check if the lights turn off immediately. If this doesn't help, a bypass 2 may be needed for that type of bulb.
