FIBARO Dimmer2 FGD212 add 3 switches

marbe

Question

Hello,

I added new Fibaro Dimmer 2 to HC2 FW 4.154 and it added more devices as expected - 1x system device (hidden), 1x remote controller(visible), 3x switches devices. Two of them have power measuring, last one not.

It is correct and how should it work together, why 3x switches and what of them is main?

Thank you

Martin

Device kind: com.fibaro.FGD212

  • Yes, at attachment.

Now it shows consumption 9.5W even if all switchs are off.

Hi...as per my knowledge Remotely controlled light dimming module is designed to work with various types of light sources. It may be connected to two-wire or three-wire configuration so it can operate with or without neutral lead. FIBARO Dimmer 2 can switch or dim connected light source either through radio waves or through the wall switch connected directly to it.

Why are there 4 slave devices added ?

    - Why are three “the same” ?  (in example 304/306/307)

    - What is the “function” of this “remote Salve Device” ?

    - Is there a way to remove (delete) (some) those slave devices ?

Why hasn't someone answered this yet?

I am adding dimmer 2's and getting 1x remote and 3x dimmer devices. What happened to adding 1x dimmer and getting 1x device?

    Can someone reveal this mystery?

Which dimmer device (of 3 available) should I use to steer the output?
