Hi @Rilero here is the url i use for jpeg : cgi-bin/snapshot.cgi?channel=0. And the one for mjpeg : axis-cgi/mjpg/video.cgi?channel=0&subtype=1 maybe it will help you.

    Guest pablo77

Just try this for jpg:               snapshot.cgi

    and for mjpg:                          video.cgi

In my cam I'm not using long strings to jpg, like in the picture below.

  • @Pablo77 / @Tomy270570 ... thanks for your advice, but ... no Success  :/.

I tried both urls and it doesn't work. @TomarElectronics was right, if I try my url with iOS, it works ... my problem is that I work with Android and Windows. Any other proposals?  Thanks

No idea. Are you using a camera plugin or did you add the cam by the « add device menu » ?

  • there is no plugin for Dahua Cameras.

I use "add device" and i write direct all the cam configuration (IP, user, password, url jpeg, mjpg,, ...)

I tried also to use other plugin, hoping that maybe they could support my camera, but it doesn't work.

Yes i know there is no dahua plugin but there a generic on, i’ve also used this before before to came back to the add device.

    i had a look here :

Please login or register to see this code.

But it only shows the 4430 and not the 4431. Don’t know if they are using the same urls. The 4430 is using the url i gave you.

I’ve really no more idea, sorry. Hoppe you’ll find the solution!

Dahua (latest firmwares and newer models) uses Digest authentication, which is not supported by Fibaro:

Hi @Lambik thank you for your feedback, we have now a clear answer. And i know now that i’ll’not update my camera firmware (it was in my long to do list !)

@Tony270570 Beware! Not updating camera firmware is not preferred, because of high security risk!

Just wanted it to be mentioned....

Yes @Lambik i know and you’re perfectly wright! But for this shot i’ll take the risk, the cam is used by the hc .Thank you again for the advise.

    You're welcome.  ;D

If you don't update firmware, I suggest to block all camera access to/from the internet, to restrain some risks.
