  1. What does the "Save energy to database "do (device configuration)? I figure out the "Use stored energy data in Energy Panel", the "Use instantaneous power in Energy Panel calculations" and the "Calculate energy used", but can't figure out what the "Save energy to database" do...
  2. I have some device connected to z-wave plugs that can measure the energy consumption and aeon labs plugs are used. Now I would like every month a report how many kWh, all summary of consumption. Best would be to get that report by email. Is something like this possible in the HC3 lite with LUA? Can anybody help me to get started: - how to get all consumption summary - how to send an email - how to run the script only once per month Thanks

  4. Hi, I am having a hard time undestanding how to use the energy panel in HC2. It seems the graphs can never be completely trusted as they show different data depending on time window. Compare graphs 1 and 2 below. They both show power consumption for same two devices, but in graph 2 I have zoomed in a bit so the window is shorter. Graph 1: 03:30 to 13:15 Graph 2: 04:30 to 11:45 The blue line is the power consumption of my house and the red line is for my espresso maker. I first looked at time window 1 and was surprised at how little power the espresso machine used, around 600W apparently. I knew this could not be correct so I zoomed in to get a closer look. Zooming in gave a completely different graph as you can see. Now the consumption looks correct, about 1800 W. This odd behaviour is more or less standard in the energy panel.. Peak levels move up and down as you zoom in and out of the graph, making it all but impossible to get a good and trustworthy view of the data and the trends. Sometimes is looks like a device has had higher momentary power consumption then the whole house, but when I change the zoom level it becomes clear that that was not the case at all, the data was just misrepresented in the graph. Is this just a bug in the system or is there some clever thinking behing how the data is presented that is above my level of intelligence?
  5. This Quickapp retrieves energy consumption, energy production, gas and water usage from the (P1 Monitor) energy, gas and water meter. This Quickapp uses the software of ztatz.nl to get the values from your smart energymeter. The ztatz plug-and-play software can run on a Raspberry Pi or in a Docker container. The Energy consumption and energy production are added to the HC3 energy panel. Use the child devices Todays Consumption and Todays Production to store energy data (kWh) in the Energy Panel. And use the child devices Consumption and Production for instantaneous power (Watt) in the Energy Panel calculations. Child Devices for: Consumption (Watt) (input for instantaneous power in Energy Panel calculations) Production (Watt) (input for instantaneous power in Energy Panel calculations) Todays Consumption (kWh) (input for energy panel) Todays Production (kWh) (input for energy panel) Waterflow (Liter) Consumption High (kWh) Consumption Low (kWh) Production High (kWh) Production Low (kWh) Consumption L1 (Watt) Consumption L2 (Watt) Consumption L3 (Watt) Production L1 (Watt) Production L2 (Watt) Production L3 (Watt) Ampere L1 (Amp) Ampere L2 (Amp) Ampere L3 (Amp) Voltage L1 (Volt) Voltage L2 (Volt) Voltage L3 (Volt) Total Gas (m³) Total Waterflow (m³) Interval: It is possible to process messages from the smart meter every second. Of course, this is only possible if the smart meter actually sends a message every second. This can be turned on via the ztatz software P1 port configuration page via the "maximum processing speed" option. Note that this gives a higher load on the Rpi (or Docker). It has been tested on the Rpi3/Rpi4 and works well on it. Older or other RPIs have not been tested. The P1 Monitor QuickApp uses 2 API calls each cycle, and if you also use Waterflow, 3 API calls each cycle. With an interval setting of 10 seconds there is an API call every 5 seconds (and with Waterflow enabled, every 3.33 seconds). So the fastest interval setting will probably be 3 seconds with Waterflow and 2 seconds without Waterflow. Ztatz software: https://www.ztatz.nl Docker container based on the ztatz.nl software: The container version has the same functionality as the full version for the Raspberry Pi. 6. From all my Double Switches 2 one seems to be wrong. All reports energy change immediately when I turn light on/off however the one does not report at all. Only way to get the reports is to set interval where are other works without the interval. Any ideas?
  7. Hello I have HC2 with the latest 4.532 beta The Home Energy Meter seems to be on the latest firmware. Only Total of Power in Watt an the the Total of Energy in kWH are updatet. All of the other readings aren't updatet in HC2 I've tried to change the parameter 101 to 4144911 to have all the readings in HC2, but in my case, it allways stays at default, which is 2. Also any other parameter can't be changed. Below screen shots of the Aeotec Firmware, parameters, the Aeotec Parameter Calculation sheet, the Polling intervall If I set a polling interval, in my case 30 seconds, the readings in HC2 get updatet. Also the Aeotec ZW095 home Energy Meter doesn't show up in the actual Android Fibaro APP. Does anybody know, how to change the aeotec parametes? Thanks in advance Best Regards Fabir
  8. Hello, guys, are there any possibility to configure summary consumption on dashboard bar. By default the the sum of the values is displayed related to all device which have function of energy metering. The point is that I have a smart meter on a main incomer (input) and it measures already the total consumption of all my electrical devices. So, it's enough for me to show only this value on the dashboard bar.
  9. I have an VD to gather real time values for monitoring battery bank. I can see these values in HC2 but not in Fibaro App (android). Is there an Fibaro App bug? Could be fixed somehow? Thank a lot for any feedback, Tomas
  10. I have some device connected to z-wave plugs that can measure the energy consumption (devolo (Metering Plug MT:2646) and aeon labs (aeotec ZW075 v2) plugs are used). Now I would like every month a report how many kWh each of the plugs counted so far. Best would be to get that report by email. Is something like this possible in the HC2 eg with LUA? Can anybody help me to get started: - how to get the combined kWh from the devices - how to send an email - how to run the script only once per month thanks
  11. Hi, Hopefully this an easy one... I have a HEM ( I think its a 1, 60A 1 clamp) and I'm running 4.100 It's on the main feed into my consumer electricity panel for my house In the energy consumption panel I can see the watts and also in the device view ( watts and accumulated kwh) If I check through the API I can see the volts / Amps value but the watts and kwh are showing as 0.00 KWH/WATTS {"id":1475,"name":"House 12. Hello guys, I have got there strange behavior with HEM-3 version 1.8. With this particular device, there only Meter on Phase 2 meassure correctly, but phase 1 and phase 3 meassure only 50% of energy, based on voltage multiply by current. See attachments for seeing the difference. I also shut down reports for whole HEM. And customer has not power factor 0,5, i'm 100% sure about that. Electrical connection is corect. Did you met this strange behavior or something similar to this? There are some strings in CZ. Výkon = power. Cel. W. Fáze 1 = Power on Phase 1, ...
  13. After I installed Aeon power meter, I disabled all metering’s from other devices. I also disabled metering from phase 1-3 clamps and I use only total one. Nevertheless, I get different information across whole fibaro ecosystem. Web status bar shows consumption (3 differnet measurings 597W, 696W, 2,83kw) that is 1,x-4 times higher than real one, while all fibaro devices are off, so the only reading is from aeon meter. Iphone app shows in status bar different number and the only correct one (real data from aeon). (217W, 317W, 2,45kw) Android tablet app displays 0W (reports only when some module is turned on - module declared power). Any experience with this?
  14. Hi. Now, we started to install clamp power meters from AEON. At the first view, it works really cool. When I turn on my fan, or boiler I see proper value of consumption. Because I know fan is 1800 Watts, and boiler about 2000 Watts. So value of current consumption looks realistic. But, our problem started when we checked consumption for 1 week. As additional info, we installed several devices for different customers, and all of them has their own hardware electric meters. And of course we wanted to see same value for z-wave meter, and usual hardware meter. But unfortunately (I don't know why) z-wave meter shows smaller values. I'm sorry for probably stupid question, but is it okay to see such result? 1. I have new meters with 1.8 firmware. 2. I tried to modify different parameters like update intervals and so on. 3. Double checked connection according to manual. 4. Difference between values - something like 200%.. 5. How is accurete your AEON meters? Have you compared calculated Watts/month with you electic bill? Thank you for reply.
  15. Hi, i've created a virtual device showing instantaneous power and other info about overall consumption of my house (measures are made right after the main meter from energy company) Is there any way to have this virtual device seen as a power metering device (like the fibaro power plug) so it will be considered in the energy panel? Any glue to obtain it? Maybe through some plug in or specifically defined virtual device code providing data as a physical device will do? In general, maybe it would be nice to have virtual devices classified by functions, as physical devices are (ligthing, control switches etc) Many thanks Simone
  16. Hi all, I have a HCL with 4.057 Software Running. I have an Aeon DSB28 that is giving me some real problems. The Aeon has been added successfully to the HCL and the template loaded. However there are several slaves that are giving out data that I don't want. If I delete them, they just come back. I only have Clamp No.1 installed (230VAC, UK Single Phase), so Clamp 2 and Clamp 3 are non-existent. The data found on the Meter Total updates regularly and seems to keep track of usage. However, the Clamp No.1 actual reading is static, never updates and just gets added to the Meter Total meaning the power usage shown on the top of the screen is way out from what I'm actually using. The problems started on upgrading to 4.057 so I'm guessing its probably a software bug that I'm stuck with? Anybody else had issues?
