  1. I have changed the batteries in my door / window sensors and think they are reset. However, no matter what I do when I try to include / exclude the sensor blinks rapidly for around 7 seconds; 1 long and then 20-30 short blinks, I think, and I cannot include it. Any help appreciated. Ta John
  2. I had my Fibaro door sensor FGK 101 mounted on a door, connected (included) to my HCL system and working fine. Then I decided to reset my HCL and start all over. I did not exclude my door sensor at this point. Then, in order to include the door sensor in my new setup I needed to first reset it, then include it again. Now my problem is that I cannot reset the door sensor whatever techniques I use. I have done as it says in the supplied manual (and at fibaro.com support). I do not get the diod to blink twice. There is a slightly different description at the vesternet.com homepage. Does not work either. What to do?
  3. I have 2 FGK101 sensors and they were both reporting low battery. So I replaced the battery but HC2 is just not registering this. I have tried to delete the sensors but it fails to even notice that I am trying to delete this. What is the best way for me to do this? is there a best guide on how to change the battery and get the HC2 to recognise that this has happened?? It seems that HC2 is not reading any signals from the sensors.
  4. Hi, last week I installed an unused Fibaro door/windows sensor v2.1 I had lying around (still packed). It's added with a DS18B20 temperature sensor. My controller is a HC2 with firmware 3.590, and has 3 more sensors installed (same version 2.1 and with DS18B20) since 2013 (all 4 bought together) After a couple of include/exclude procedures, I managed to get it "working", at least getting temperature and showing breach/safe state. I can also arm and disarm the sensor. But there is not battery status icon and I can't change any of the parameters of the template (for instance, change parameter 2 from ON to OFF). If I try it, I get a "transfer failed" error. If I click on the wrench icon, on the Advanced tab, the only different configuration from other sensors is that the "Wake up interval (s)" and the "Notify when battery low via e-mail" parameters are missing (see attached images for comparison). Accesing the JSON through the API (http://<HC2_IP>/api/devices?id=<device_id>) I can see that there's a parameter called "isBatteryOperated" with the value "0", but all other door sensors have value "1". I've also tried resetting the sensor with no success Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in advance!
