  1. I have several FGFS-101 Flood Sensors. On one of the FGFS-101 Flood Sensors I paired it with my Z-Wave hub using external DC power. I never paired it using battery power. After about 24 hours my iPhone is reporting that the FGFS-101 sensor is “Unavailable”. I understand that this is normal when using internal battery power only. (To save battery power.) It was my understanding that when the sensor has external DC power it would report into the hub periodically and not become “Unavailable”. When this sensor detects moisture it does "wake up" and do its job. But I was hoping that by using external DC power I would be able to check on the status of the FGFS-101 sensor at any time. Thanks.
  2. Just purchased a couple of FGFS-101 sensors that i'm wanting to hardwire to 12V DC in order to take advantage of repeater functions. When wiring this device up, how do you handle the power cable? (guess this applies to sensor cables as well) Do you: 1. Leave the top cover off? 2. Drill a hole and pass cable(s) through the shell? If you chose #2, did you drill through the removable top shell or elsewhere? Thanks
  3. Hi all, I am using a mentioned device for make sure my pools water level does not get o high. Have been working great for a year, but I made my yearly check and wanted to exclude / include it to for the fun of it...(I know, WHY change a winning team....but I did it anyway..stupid of me..) When I add the device it works REALLY good. triple click on ST812 button and it is added straight away BUT when I test the ST812, in a glass of water, NOTHING happens, the ST812 wont beep (totally silent) no LED flashing which it should when it is triggered. HMM. Well it is old, been outside in cold Sweden for one winter. Maybe it is broken...Fair! Ordered a brand new one. EXACTLY the same problem. When I triple click the ST812 straight away it is saying "transfer ok" in the icon of HC2 . When I am reading the user manual of ST812, I found a very interesting part: Problem: No beep sound and LED not indicating when triggered Reason: Not carry out inclusion Solution: Include a node ID allocated by Z-Wave Controller Can I do more than have done? Add new nevice? I tried to Soft reconfigure, hard configure.. everyting I can think of? And I can see that it belongs to a node.. Any advice for me? All help is appreciated! Thanks Valle
  4. To everyone who currently has Fibaro HC 2 i just have a few questions: Are you happy with the product? What issues do you have with it? Do you get any lags or whereby scenes or devices do not respond to commands? We are currently building a new house and got a quote of 120K (in South African Rand, which in USD works out to around $12000) for the following products: Description Quantity FIBARO Relay Insert 2 * 1.5 KW 90 FIBARO Relay Insert 1 * 2.5 KW 31 FIBARO Motion Sensor 10 FIBARO Flood Sensor 2 FIBARO Smoke detector 3 iTach Flex WiFi 6 iTach Flex Link 6 Blaster Cable 6 FIBARO Door- and Window Sensor 10 FIBARO Z-Wave Home Center 2 1 Before spending that much I want some real reviews of the product and real life experiences. In my country (SA) there is very little support and nowhere I can go to view the products. Appreciate all feedback Thanks
