  1. Testing my first and very simple scene raised some elementary questions which I am sure some of can answer. The scene simply is "if smoke alarm is activated/breached, then switch off relay after 10 sec". Here is the block scene: Røykvarsler = smoke alarm Komfyrvakt rele = relay switch And here are my questions: 1. In the setup, shown below, there is a check box for "Do not allow alarm to stop scene...". There is a warning to avoid checking this box. In my case it seems logical that the scene is NOT stopped by an alarm, as the trigger itself is an alarm. Do you agree? When do you actually tick this box? For all alarm related scenes? 2. The scene is set to be "automatic". Is this sufficient, or should the box "Start when HC2 starts" be ticked as well, as I have done above? What is the difference between ticked and open in this box for an automatic scene? 3. In the main interface, the scene appears with its own icon and small panel: I assume the on/off slider to indicate whether the automatic scene is active or disabled? What about the "play" button below? When I push it, the relay switches off. Does that mean that the play button activates the "THEN statement" (here: switch off relay) regardless of trigger status? Feel free to give your opinion on any or all of my questions. I am just starting my scenes projects and need to learn more.
  2. Hi. I installed fibaro skills for Amazon Alexa, and I see all devices from Fibaro HC2 in Amazon Alexa service, but i don't see my scenes (block scenes). What can be a problem? Vedran
  3. Hi, everyone I am also happy HCL owner from last week IMO the block-scenes are the most buggy thing in this SW: 1.You have no chance to perform auto OFF scene without killing other instances (which is not available for blocks), and even if u set instance limit to 10, situation cold be like this: -We have a scene waiting 10 minutes for a motion sensor to stop breaching. Every motion (8 sec by default) it will trigger the scene. Motion-> Instance 1 - start counting 10 min (after 10 mi it will see there was other motins and will do nothing) - light will still be ON Motion-> Instance 2 - start counting 10 min (after 10 mi it will see there was other motins and will do nothing) - light will still be ON ... Motion-> Instance 10 - start counting 10 min (after 10 mi it will see there was other motins and will do nothing) - light will still be ON Motion-> Instance 11 - not started because of scene instance limit - light will still be ON %killOtherInstances should be added as option in GUI 2. This crazy and\then in designer - absoltely not clear how to use it. If u delete conditional block in a middle, it will delete all the rest blocks in a scene. 3. Taking in a look this blocks designer is not really stable - user should be able to see the resulting LUA code, atleast after save. TY
  4. Dear Users, I'm running version 4.140 and I've just installed a new Danalock v3. Seems like the Danalock v3 is working just fine, but I cannot select it while I'm making a block scene. Steps to reproduce: Make sure you have properly working Danalock v3. Add a new scene using blocks start your scene with an 'Days in week' at Anytime (I think it doesn't matter how you start your scene anyway). Add your device - Danalock v3 result: The Fibaro user interface scrolls or refreshes to the top of your browser and the device (danalock v3) is not added. Other devices seem to work fine... Hoping there is an explanation to this. With kind regards, Peter Seems to work in a LUA scene..
  5. Any idea why this simple scene will not trigger? Should switch an outlet on for 2.5 hours every day at 10pm. This is m y first scene, and it seems simple enough, but am I missing something? I can trigger the outlet manually from within the app and it works fine so I know it's connected and functioning properly outside the scene. Thanks all!
  6. Hi, this is the expression I want to realize in the condition for a block scene: a and b and (c or d) I have difficulties to control the brackets in the block editor; they seem to pop up now and then. Would someone explain to me how to make the backets appear or disapper? Thanks.
  7. Hi All, I'm trying to setup a very simple scene: Requirements: At 20:18 AND when Magnet contact is safe lock door When I configure this in a block scene it doesn't work. It ignores the time trigger and it is immediately closing the lock. What am I doing wrong or is this a bug in Hc2 4.110? Cheers, Landshark EDIT 15/05/17 Unticking the DC Voordeur box as triggering device resolved the problem
  8. Hi All, I'm trying to setup a very simple scene: Requirements: At 20:00 AND when Magnet contact is safe lock door When I configure this in a block scene it doesn't work. It ignores the time trigger and it is immediately closing the lock. What am I doing wrong or is this a bug in Hc2 4.110? Cheers, Landshark
  9. Hello, Recently I bought a Homecenter Lite and I'm experimenting with scenes. Now I discovered something I believe is a bug in Fibaro scenes. Hope you can confirm or tell me what I'm doing wrong here. First, let me explain how I work: I have some lights outside which I want to switch on and off depending on the time of the day with different timestamps depending on the day of the week. Also I use a variable "daypart" (dagdeel in Dutch) which switches in scenes from morning to afternoon to evening depending on the time of the day. The variable "daypart" is set to night in the scene which switches of the lights late in the evening. Now in the morning, at exact time 07:00 I have a scene which checks if "daypart" is still night (it will switch in another scene to morning at sunrise) and if so it switches the lights outside to on. Now the problem, the last scene described should check if time is exact 07:00 and then check if daypart is still night. Only if that's the case it should switch on the lights. Now, what's really happening, when my scene which switches off the lights late in the evening and sets daypart to night (mostly around 23.30) the lights switch to on again after 4 seconds. The lights only stay off if I disable the scene which should only work at 07:00. Now, anyone knows what's going wrong here? I suppose the scene is triggered only by change of the variable instead of variable combined with exact time as stated in the scene. See also both scenes as sample
  10. Dear comunity, I have a probleme with a block scene and hopefully someone can tell me, what I did wrong. The scene's job is, to turn lights on / off at a special time, in case I am not at home(!). I created a variable, that I can aktivate with another scene - that works good: Set "Simu_Anwesend" = "Aktiv" means, I am not at home, set "Simu_Anwesend" = "Inaktiv" means, I am at home and no lights should be turned on automatically. The Problem-scene (see attachement) sould turn on a light, in case of I set the variable "Simu_Anwesend" to "Aktive" and the time is 18:00. The problem is, that as soon as I set the varibale to "Aktiv", the light turns on immediately - even the time is bevore 18:00!? Thanks for every help!
