  1. How could I make an scene that would override my existing scenes? for example: I have a sprinkler scene for 1 am, and a lights off as well, how can I create an override sequence so that later on or the next day the preprogrammed scenes run properly? Gracias
  2. Drodzy instalatorzy, Mam zrobione (narazie testowo na kablach i oprawce) podłączenie 2 żyłowe (bez kabla N) z dimmerem i bypassem w/g schematu z pudełka.
  3. Hi, I described my issue already in a topic about bypass/dimmer compatibility but I believe it requires a new topic. Scenario: - 2 x Dimmable GU10 Philips Master LEDs 5 W each on the circuit (around 11W in tottal according to dimmer measurement) - 3 wires configuration with Dimmer 2 and bypass 2 presented below - monostable single switch - bulbs calibrated after first start up - tried with 2 completely new dimmers and behavior is the same Behavior: 1. Momentary push of the switch turns the bulbs ON or OFF with no issues 2. Light is ON. Now, pressing it for a longer time doesn't do anything - no dimm is observed. Once switch is released, then it goes slowely to the lowest level of dimm. Since that time, momentary push makes it goes always to full brightness (ON) or to lowest dimm level again. The only way to make it works on and off is to double click the switch. 3. When I try to set whatever level of brightness in the HC2 it works perfectly. Same with on/off. I tried to remove DImmer unit but it works the same. Bypass and dimmers have been of the shelve, sealed boxes. Any ideas? Thanks
  4. I started working on making things smart in my house. First thing I bought is a domotics controller, Fibaro dimmers and bypasses and some Ikea Tradfri (smart) lights.I would like to make use of the Fibaro Dimmer 2 with double momentary (pulse) switches on the wall to control light groups and make scenes through the domotics controller. I then connect the lights directly to the net since the dimmer 2 in combination with the dimmer already in the smart lights won't work very well. Is it possible to not connect any lights to the Fibaro Dimmer 2, but only use it in combination with a double momentary (pulse) switch? I then want to associate both switches to selected groups of smart lights. I know it is possible to do this with S2 (explained here: http://www.vesternet.com/resources/application-notes/apnt-109), but how would I wire a setup without any lights (and making use of the Fibaro bypass)? Hope someone can help, thanks in advance!
  5. Hello All, Can someone provide a clear table with regards to Bypass<->Dimmers compatibility? I wonder, if I can I use Bypass ver 1 (FGB-001) with Dimmer FGD-212 or FGD-213 and the opposite- Bypass ver 2 (FGB-002) with Dimmer FGD-211? Thanks Maciej
  6. Hi, I have a Dimmer 2 that I'm using with 16x 5w Megaman dimmable LED GU10s (141391). It's in a 3-wire configuration. I'm using them with a Vera Edge but I don't think that's important for my issue. My issue is that it doesn't dim down anywhere low enough. At full brightness they report 87 watts, but at 1% dim, they are currently reporting 20.3 watts which is still pretty bright! Also, the dim range is far from linear. There is almost no decrease in light/power dropping from 100% to 50%. It's only when I get below about 40% that there is much noticeable decrease. I've done a couple of re-calibrates but it doesn't seem to help. After doing so Variable 1 (min brightness) is set to 10 and 2 (max) is set to 46. I've tried setting variable one lower but the value doesn't seem to stay. Would the Dimmer Bypass 2 maybe help me out here? Thanks Richard
