  1. Hi, i try to use the Dimmer 2 to control DC 12V dimmable LTE strip light, but from what i understand that Dimmer 2 need 100V ~ 240V AC power supply. the thing i confused is that the manuals shows it is passable to work on DC 12V LED light could anyone help me to understand how to make this works, many thanks Kevin
  2. Hi all, I have been using fibaro since many years ago, with more or less problems but I always made it work. Now I don't know why but I cannot make a dimmer 2 work with my led lights. It's a new installation of 23 (3w each) little garden lights and 4 bigger ones (12w each) so a total of 117W. I tried it without fibaro bypass but as I saw the lights flickering I installed it in one of the lamps. With or without fibaro bypass the lights are not turning on. I tried to reset the device and also do the calibration with the B button, nothing works, in theory the result of the calibration is red, what in the manual means: "Calibration procedure failed. Possible reasons: lack of connected load or connected light source exceeds maximum power, which may be controlled by the Dimmer 2" As I said the total of lamps are 117W so it should be enough and not exceed the limit. I attach here an imagine of the installation. I also have available the neutral wire but I tried with and without it and is not working in any case. The strange thing is that the lights does not turn on with the dimmer2 attached. If I remove the dimmer, all is working fine. Thanks in advance,
  3. I am trying to install a dimmer 2 in a wall box where a led lamp is plugged in. (I am aware of the risks when plugging in other devices then the acutal lamp ) This lamp has 48 leds on the adapter the output voltage is 24V. After instelling this dimmer and plugging in the lamp the auto calibration starts, but ends up in a red led. The lamp itself is on but on a very low strenght. No response on increasing the dimming percentage, nor switching on or off. When I plug-in another lamp it works perfectly, so installation should be ok. The manual hints about low power consumption in case when red led is ulluminated. Do I need to install a bypass or do I need to adjust any parameters ?
