Hi Fibaro staff and users, I've in problem with HC2-FibaroID and user authentication for remote acces I haven't find the place where share access to HC2 to second (and third, etc…) FibaroID to allow remote access to my family members. Current I find only following ways 1. share full access to my FibaroID (name and password) with instructuon how to connect through this - not best way, becouse I don't like to give full access to all mu houses 2. direct HTTP flow through my firewall and ask them to access directly - extremly unsecure way becouse lack of HTTPS Could You give some hint, how to behaive or could you point me the right option or (on case lack of this) plan in future developments add that kind of functionality With bests Henn
Hello, I have been on 4.120 and now 4.130 almost since the respective firmware was released by Fibaro. However, it was only as of today that I adopted the FibaroID fully by completing the HC Wizard that from what I understand erased my previous admin account and replaced it with my FibaroId. All good so far. However, previously (i.e. on 4.130) I have been accessing scenes by using the following format: http://admin:firstname.lastname@example.org/api/sceneControl?id=56&action=start (For the security minded person: Yes, I am aware I am using my password in clear text above.) However, with adoption of FibaroId the user name in the string above is now containing an @-character and so I decided to create a new user (not the super user). I did that and I changed it also in the client that is making the HTTP-call to my HCLite (and yes I enabled the corresponding scenes for the new user). I have tried both of these formats http://newuser:email@example.com/api/scenes/56/action/start http://newuser:firstname.lastname@example.org/api/sceneControl?id=56&action=start None of the above is working. When entering the same string in my webbrowser I get error 501, connection refused. When using http://192.168.1.1/docs/#!/scenes/sceneAction by filling in scene 56 and action start I get the expected result from the scene. So I am quite sure that it is some sort of access issue Can someone point me in any direction? Thanks, Erik
