  1. Hi everyone. I wrote this message some time ago but no one replied to me (by now I understand that Yubii Home / Fibaro we use it in four cats or in any case those who do it may rely on an installer for which there is no info and a nice discussion group as to instead there is an example for Home Assistant & Co., okay). I have a somewhat particular configuration ... after a thousand searches I was able to find a Yubii Home gateway which is basically a Fibaro Home Lite 3 plus the management of Nice radio devices at 433 and 868 MHz and I managed to " home automation "of my 11 shutters with which I have been opening and closing through 11 Nice TT2N control units for a few years using a Nice remote control. Not wanting to throw away all the control units (and above all not finding ZigBee / Z-Wave / WiFi devices that are as tiny as my TT2Ns and therefore can fit in my crowded 503s ..), I folded for this gateway and ... it's bad. The Yubii app for Android is decent, even a little more, but I have some doubts with using it via Google Home, and more precisely: 1) When I connect Fibaro accounts in Google Home, in my opinion, the pairing does not end "well" as it should, since not all the devices detected (the 11 shutters) are proposed, but simply returns to the account list of the various brands and it seems that Fibaro is not connected. But returning to the Google home ... home (;)), however, the rooms and the various shutters that I created from the Yubii Home interface are there and work both individually and per room, so it seems ok. 2) The 3 scenes I created that basically open all the shutters, close and stop them (I had to create them because, being 11 devices at 433 MHz, it was necessary to distance each shutter by 2 seconds, otherwise with interference there is it was always something that didn't work randomly, but that's okay, in 20 sec. they all start) they work if I'm the one to start them via Google assistant, but nothing to do if my her does it with her voice. I wonder ... his user from the Yubii Android app uses them quietly (the Widgets are comfortable I must say), so the grants are there, so why is he unable to use them from GH, perhaps because it was the admin who hooked them to the home? Either it's a bug, or you tell me if it just happens to me. 3) I did a test that left me perplexed: I tried to connect Fibaro account to GH with my hers user account ... error. Then from the web interface of the Yubii gateway I made her admin (Settings - Access - TRANSFER OF THE ADMINISTRATOR ROLE), always error. With my user (which I renamed to my liking) but which is the one that started admin from the beginning, the default one to be clear, everything ok. Well ... In summary ... to work it works, only the user user cannot recall the scenes from GH, as if there was some grant problem, mah ... Give me a tip, I'd like to understand if I'm the one who's wrong, but it seems to me simply a bug on the Fibaro server side (only they don't reply on their forum, really sucks). Thank you all...
  2. Dear users, Can someone please tell me how i can setup my galaxy watch 4 (wear OS) to work along with the YUBII app. i cant get this working in any way Much tanks in advance for an awnser! Grtz Wesley

  4. Hi all! My Google home integration stopped working after II think) the last update of HC2. In the Google Home app the Fibaro Devices in the rooms are listed but unavailable. Relinking the Fibaro account in the Google home app results in a failure. Anyone got the same problem? Regards, Stefan.
  5. Amazon, Apple, Google, Zigbee Alliance and board members (such as IKEA, Legrand, NXP Semiconductors, Resideo, Samsung SmartThings, Schneider Electric, Signify (formerly Philips Lighting), Silicon Labs, Somfy, and Wulian) form working group to develop open standard for smart home devices. The industry working group will take an open-source approach for the development and implementation of a new, unified connectivity protocol. The project intends to use contributions from market-tested smart home technologies from Amazon, Apple, Google, Zigbee Alliance, and others. The decision to leverage these technologies is expected to accelerate the development of the protocol, and deliver benefits to manufacturers and consumers faster. 6. Which Voice control should I go for? Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant or something else? I have a home based on z-wave+ components (see profile) controlled by HC2. Currently I have no voice control setup. If home control is the primary purpose, which one should I go for? And Why?
  7. Hello, Is it posible to send text to a cell in a Google spreadsheet from Fibaro Lua? My central heating is a zone-heating controlled bij a Fibaro HC2 with zwave Secure thermostats in every room in my house. The heating works by a central gas boiler and electric Heimeier valves with Fibaro relais I like to log the on/off times (then i can calculate the heating minutes per day) so that i can show it in a graph according to the room temperature and outside temperature. With this information i can make my heating even smarter, i can automatically calculate the starting time to heat in the morning depending on the room and outside temperature to reach a certain temp at 9:00 If sending text to a external document is possible it can be used for a lot of other things: - Temperature logs (pir/smoke sensor) - Room usage (pir) - Usage of devices (koffeemachine, radio, tv, computer, lights, .....) - Graphical views - ......

Hi All, I came across the problem of making my private Google Calendar's entries available in HC2 with the intention of using it in some of my home's automation scenarios. Since I was unable to find any simple solution on the internet I did create my own and here it is The scene runs on my HC2 since few weeks without any issues. I did schedule the scene using Sankotronic's Main Scene for Time Based Events and it is synchronizing my Google Cal every hour. There are three basic steps to make the scene working for you: · Provide the link to your google calendar by modifying the address hold in the local variable local gCalUrl = https://calendar.google.com/calendar/ical/xxxxxxx.ics Create global variable GCalendar which will hold the synchronized Google Calendar entries Maintain the translation table monthMapping to map the names of the months to your local language. This is needed due to the fact that global variable “Month” could the name of current month in your local language – which is the case for me. Once GCalendar global variable is synchronized with Google Calendar I can use it in "good morning" scene which is reading the agenda for the day once I'm brushing my teeth in the morning Any comments highly appreciated. Global variable GCalendar is holding the information on upcoming events. The information is structured in the following way: GCalendar = { Name, StartDate, EndDate, WholeDay }; Name holds the name of Calendar event, StartDate and EndDate are the event's start and end-date accordingly, WholeDay is a flag with values "Yes" in case the event was defined as "whole day" and "No" if this isn't the case. @jompa68 jompa68 did create VD which shows today's events from your calendar for current date. VD is attached below (hope you don't mind jompa68 but having it in the first post makes it easier to find ). Update 8.3.2017 Thanks to @jompa68 I realized there is no handling of recurring events. Honestly I did not think this small topic can be so much complicated... anyway. Some basic recurrence rules should now be supported by the script. Update 12.3.2017 @emielstroeve figured out that calendar events marked as "whole day" were not recognized by the script. Version 1.2 solves this problem by adding the missing functionality. I did extend the structure of GCalendar variable with additional field "WholeDay". The field contains "Yes" in case the event is defined as "whole day" otherwise the field is set to "No".
  9. Whilst looking for information on how well the Amazon Echo works in the UK, it seems it has quite a few drawbacks. So i decided to look at anything else that could be used and I come across the Google Home. You can read about it here: http://www.theverge.com/2016/5/18/11688376/google-home-speaker-announced-virtual-assistant-io-2016 After reading the above however it seems they will not be releasing the API for this but will be working with 'some' home automation. Maybe now would be a good time for Fibaro to contact them. It could be a big boost for Fibaro if they was on that list.
  10. Well, i hate having to do this (and writing about it) but when (to me atleast) i didnt get a detailed explenation what Google Analytics is doing in the HC2 and how often it is used etc, i had to look for myself. I do NOT use Google as DNS in my HC2, i use my gateway. I used Debookee to analyze the traffic setting my router as "Gateway" and my HC2 as "Target" and this is what i found. Summary. This is what a HC2 does every hour, of every day. HC2 does: 5000! DNS requests to Google (4924 times to be exact) 500 HTTP/S Requests to Yahoo and Fibaro (350 HTTPS requests to Fibaro and 150 HTTP requests to Yahoo for weather) 5 SSH Requests to Fibaro This stacks up to a grand total of almost 130 000! Requests every day! To me this is not just "Gathering som data to analyze system performance etc". http://forum.fibaro.com/index.php?/topic/21144-google-analytics-included-in-v4080-update/?p=86789 That can be collected 1 time / day or week. I understand that some use home.fibaro.com and that needs a connection, but i use DDNS and that updates only when necessary so i can't see any use for all these DNS requests. And as Fibaro has SSH access and the box constantly updates Fibaro via SSH and HTTPS requests it all seems like ALOT of traffic. ! Please correct me if I'm wrong / misstaking etc, I'm not a network admin with 10+ years of experience ! Here are the Debookee captures if anyone is interested.. HC2 - DNS - 2016-04-01.txt HC2 - HTTP - 2016-04-01.txt HC2 - Other TCP - 2016-04-01.txt
