Harmony Home Hub Extender with Fibaro HC2
litfoo posted a question in Other Devices / Third-party devices
Hi all, I searched through the forum and there does not seem to be much recent activity regarding this. Has anyone had much success in using the Harmony Home Hub Extender with Fibaro HC2 ? http://www.logitech.com/en-us/product/harmony-home-hub-extender If so, please can you share the level of success - what you have manage to achieve etc.? Many thanks -
I found this image in the knowledge base but I can not "easily" add any activity the my harmony hub to the scene. The only way is via LUA?

Today i updated to v. 4.02 for my Fibaro HC2. The update log recommended a reinstallation of the Logitech Harmony Plugin. When i installed the Plugin again via the very smart code-authentication it says on the plugin info: As I understand from the text above it should be possible to make a Scene in HC2 and include a Logitech Harmony Activity? As an example, I have a scene in HC2 called "Leaving Home", and when I press it the lights shuts down and in that scene I also want to shut down my Tv using the Harmony Acitivity. But when i trying to add a scene i can't choose the Activity from my Logitech even tough the activity (Acitivity Digital-Tv in the image attached) is visible in the HC2 panel in the web interface. Does anybody know how to add an Logitech Harmony Acitivity in a HC2 Scene? Thanks in advance! C.

Hi guys I have added the Harmony plugin and the Harmony 'activities' are listed within HC2. However, these 'acivities' aren't listed anywhere when I try to create a Fibaro scene . Any ideas why this might be?

Is it possible to use harmony activity status to run a Fibaro scene? What I am trying to achieve, is to have a Fibaro scene run, automatically, when a harmony activity is run -- For example, Harmony scene = Watch TV, pressing watch tv will change activity state to "On" I would then like to have scene, close blinds, run - and when activity state Watch TV changes back to Off, have scene Blinds Up, run. Is this possible, if so, how? Thanks

Have bought me a Harmony Hub to easily control multiple devices with just one touch. It replaces 3st remotes in my home. Harmony Hub needs to be controlled by your smartphone, once installed it is easy to program (can be programmed in PC/Mac or direct in your smartphone) various activities to have it do what I want it to do. Have you Homebridge you can also install plug-ins that support Harmony Hub, which I made of course So now I can say to Siri that I want to see TV and it triggers all three units and set the correct input, etc.. Its perfect! A negative thing is that the Harmony Hub does not now if a unit is already on, it does what it is told to do. If you have a device that uses "tooglePower", it can have the opposite effect, ie it shuts the device off instead of turning it on. In my smartphone i use Eve from Elgato an that is working together with Apple HomeKit Homebridge installation and setup http://forum.fibaro.com/index.php?/topic/19459-homebridge-plugin-for-fibaro-hc2/
