  1. Is it possible to disable the default push notification to the app when an alarm is triggered? I currently get "An alarm was detected on partition xxx" message as soon as an alarm partition is activated. I want to disable this. Reason is my scene plays an entry beep allowing time for someone to enter and put in their code. Therefore if the alarm is cancelled before say 60 seconds, I don't want to get the notification. The problem with the entry delay is that there is no way to trigger a scene and play the sound so the entry delay in the panel is pointless. I want to just handle the push notification in the code rather than get the one automatically. Thanks!
  2. Hello, I'm using HC3 and I have purchased the above Camera recently. My simple questions are: 1. How to connect the camera directly to my HC3, in terms of configurations? (I don't know how to get MJPEG & JPEG path) 2. Do I must have NVR? (preferred without) Tnx
  3. Hello, I'm currently running into a strange problem. Running HC3 latest stable firmware 5.170.16 Besides other devices, I also have 2x Smart Implants on which I'm using the inputs. SI - ID40 works fine, inputs are very responsive SI - ID54 inputs do not change Both are connected to the same 24Vdc power supply next to each other. The inputs are just reed switches pulling IN1/IN2 to GND. Both running latest firmware v5.2 Both look identical, same security level S2A, Z-wave type 3 and SDK version 6.2, other params are identical. Both 'Input configuration = Monostable' Steps taken: Removed and re-added the device, no luck Replaced the FGBS-222 with a new one, the same behavior. Swapped the wire connector 40<>54, wiring is OK the SI-ID54 does not detect inputs There is one major difference: the working device was added months ago (I do not remember the exact FW version of HC3 at that moment), and the non-working device was added just recently. It seems that adding Smart Implants is not longer working for me.. Other devices like 'The Button' that I recently added are working straight away. The non-working SI also pop-up to the HC3 with a different icon set > see attached screenshot. Any ideas anyone?
  4. Hello dear Fibaro Users & developers, I am experiencing an issue with my HC3 while making API calls to another system in my network, Domoticz. Who has the same experience or solution to resolve this? The Issue: I created a scene in the HC3 that includes program code to make an API call to Domoticz. However, the API call does not work as expected. To verify the code, I tested the same API call outside the HC3 using curl commands, and it works flawlessly. Each time I activate the scene, I see the following error in the Domoticz system log: 2024-12-16 23:37:36.517 Status: [WebServer] Deprecated RType () for API request. Call ignored, please use correct API Command! (192.168.xx.yyy) < We an say that te network connection between both systems is correct. Otherwise Domoticz can not log the incomming API call > Additional Details: When testing Domoticz without the HC3 making API calls, everything works correctly. It seems the HC3 may be sending an invalid or deprecated request parameter (e.g., RType). My Domoticz system is running the latest version, and the HC3 firmware is up to date (v5.170.16).
  5. I am progressively excluding my HC2 devices and migrating them to HC3, but I have a bunch that seem to not be responding to triple clicks...this was for exclusion initially, but then on re-inclusion after I managed to exclude after the 20th try for one dimmer. I think there are/could be multiple causes here: Dodgy switch wiring (there was one light that was finicky even on a directly wired setup and it took ages to even unpair) Devices not where I think they are - behind switchplate - I've already found a few by moving the HC3 closer to the ceiling or pulling a downlight out and seeing a Fibaro device come trailing behind it Connected to S2 instead of S1 by lazy sparkies (possible, unverified) Devices behind brick external walls/internal insulation, and now part of a much populated HC2 network I plan to wait for a dry/cooler day (aussie summer) to trapse my HC3 around the house to likely candidate points, but it would be easier if I could rely on extenders, a secondary controller (Aeotec Gen 7 with Silicon Labs PC controller*), or even just find the devices myself withmy Aeotec Gen 5 stick, running as a sniffer might be a better approach. My questions are: Would a sniffer on a USB stick (small, internal antenna) be of any use to try to triangulate the device's location? (I was thinking to monitor the RSSI or something) If so, does an excluded/factory fresh device send any z wave signals when interacted with via S1 switches? (I have at least one that is now excluded but still in an unknown location with an unresponsive triple click) Do exclusions get passed and processed network wide? Or only in direct range of controller? The 'remove' function lacks an NWI flag. I have added some extenders in the general areas I am having issues, without much change. Can exclusions and inclusions get passedand processed by a secondary controller? If so, do you need to run the process on the secondary (in my case through Silicon labs PC Controller),or start the exclusion on the HC3 and trust the secondary will mediate? Would powering down my HC2, Zniffer, Secondary controller make it easier for the HC3 to find devices through a normal include? *Not sure if relevant, but: All of these 'can't exclude' devices are functioning fine on the HC2 network, though I know each one I exclude changes and limits the mess on that network. I am running Engine v 3 on the HC3. None of the diminishing HC2 networking are security connected, but pretty much all of the HC3 network has been included as S0 or S1. The 700 series controller is behaving a bit odd as a secondary for the HC3 compared to the HC2. It's definitely getting included, finding devices etc, but any mapping and node tracing functions seem to get null results or error out. (the standard APIs also get nulls when tracing last route on the HC3 - I need to use the new engine API to get those details....but I didn't think the silicon labs devices would know/care about that?
  6. My use case here is a downstairs light that I want to manage via three triggers, each with different logic branches in the scene (times, on until switched off, etc) Upstairs switch from associated device will turn on downstairs light and run specific scene actions Downstairs S1 for the downstairs light will turn light on and run specific scene actions Downstairs motion detector will turn light on and run specific scene actions, and restart the timer aspect of those actions as further motion is triggered. This is the first of two scenes I have this kind of behaviour on, and the much simpler one. As part of trying to get my head around HC3 LUA (and trying to avoid bringing these very complex HC2 scenes here asking for help), I am experimenting with sourcetrigger detection and reactions...so... Where I have a secondary device switching a primary device via an association, and a scene listening for device triggers on both sides of that association, the sourcetrigger always reports a 'device' type trigger with the ID of the primary device - no trace of the secondary device that I am actually pressing the switch on. I can understand the logic in that behaviour, and I also understand that associations are run directly between the two devices, so the behaviour is not that surprising....but it is not what I want here. I'm guessing no one will have a way to differentiate and association triggered sourcetrigger, but does anyone have any suggestions on how else I might configure the relationship between the two devices to get what I want? I am guessing it's something to do with the scenetrigger type functionality on the master device, but that's a technique I have very little familiarity with.
  8. Hi I moved from New Zealand to Australia and I can't connect my HC3. I followed the recovery procedure but still the HC3 can't be found by the HC interface. I would appreciate your help! Thanks IMG_7802.HEIC
  9. In the process of setting up an HC3 5.160.42 with some devices previously used on an HC2 system. My problem is with the jpg file of the 'send photo to user' by email action. I'm using the same camera URL as in the HC2 and the preview shows fine, and the scene triggers fine, but the emailed attached file won't open in anything, and appears empty (shows 0kb in properties). Anyone experienced this issue?
  10. I'm experiencing a problem with my shutter relay that was working fine until recently. Now, when I give the "Open" command, the curtain opens as expected but automatically closes after a few seconds. I suspect it could be a software issue. Can anyone help me figure this out? A few things to note: No changes have been made to any settings or parameters. I’ve already done both a hard and soft reset of the relay. It works temporarily, but the issue returns after a while. I tested the motor separately, and it works fine without the relay. When testing the relay, power is correctly supplied to the Q1 terminal for opening, but after a few seconds, it switches to the Q2 terminal for closing. I even replaced the motor, but the issue persists. I started with a Fibaro FGR-222 and upgraded to an FGR-223. It worked for a day, but the problem came back. Any insights or advice would be appreciated!

  13. QuickApp to read the EASTRON SDM630 V3 and SDM230 V2 Modbus Smart Meter for HC3 This QuickApp is for querying pretty much most of the parameters of the Eastron SDM630 / SDM 230 Modbus devices. It reads directly from the Modbus server, for example a Modbus Device Waveshare RS485 to RJ45 Ethernet Industrial Serial Server Modbus Gateway. Some important information: After installation, only the parent device will be created. You can now use your own icons for parent and child devices; these must be entered as a variable with the icon ID's. If multiple device-ID's are used, you have to provide an icon for each device; comma separated. As soon as the device is activated, these are then used when the ChildDevices are created. Hint: you can use http://<hc3-ip-address>/api/icons to get a list of your icons and icon-id's. The query and creation of ChilDevices remains inactive until the variable SDM_ACTIVE is set to true. This allows you to adjust the other parameters, which are also set on the "Variables" tab, as required. After SDM_ACTIVE has been set to true, the ChildDevices are created automatically. Further ChildDevices can be added or removed by setting the "enabled" parameter to true or false in the LUA code under "ChildDevicesDetails". If you have a V2 device, simply delete the last two lines in "ChildDevices Details", these are for V3 only. Tip: If you make changes and save the QA file, make sure that you delete all variables on the "Variables" tab beforehand. Otherwise, the variable settings of your saved QA file will be used and the entry "SDM_ACTIVE = false" will probably not be present and the QA will immediately try to create ChildDevices and read in values. Variables: MODBUS_IP contains the IP address of the Modbus adapter, e.g. from Waveshare MODBUS_PORT is the standard port of the adapter, 502 UNIT_ID is the ID of the Eastron smart meter INTERVALL defines the polling intervals in seconds ICON_PARENT sets the ID of the icon to be used for the parent device ICON_CHILDS sets the ID's of the icons to be used for the childs. You can use different icons for different devices (IDs); comma separated entries DEVICE_TYPE sets the Device, SDM230 or SDM630 are supported only UNIT_IDS = comma-separated IDs of the smart meters. These must correspond to the IDs set on the smartmeter SDM_ACTIVE stops all processes if false and continues them if true Important: If ChildDevices are deleted using "enabled=false", the data stored for this ChildDevice up to that point is also deleted! If this is not desired, the device should be managed via the interface. I would not recommend reading all the parameters as the QuickApp has otherwise put too much load on the HC3 memory in my case. Use at your own risk, I have written the device myself for my own purposes and the code can be used without any guarantee of completeness and correctness. If you don't want to take any risks, just leave it. Code is still subject to change. Have fun! Eastron_SDM_230___SDM_630.fqa

  23. I am trying to install a double switch Fibaro FGS 222, and it works, but the security level is set to "none" while it should be set to S2A. I already have a few of those relays in my network and they are on S2A. I have already factory reset the relay a few times, but that doesn't help. Anyone have an idea? I found the answer the FGS 222 is not S2A I will buy a FGS 224, or is there a better option? This is used to control a heating boiler.
