Now got the ID, it is the ID, shown in the general tab on the master of the device. Strange however is, that in VD's the ID listed as shown below is to be used. Question now is, which is the ID within the Z-wave network. I just wanted to get the latest and greatest features of my devices, so I started to soft reconfigure. I took the one I could easiest live without and/or reconfigure the hard way. Strange: in the device page, it shows me ID 134 in the information window it shows me ID 133. Might be related to 1.140 might also not be related to 1.140. I have so far never noticed this difference. I also did reconfigure with other devices and every time the ID differs by 1 (ID in device page is +1 compared to the ID in the info window) Scenes however still work with these reconfigured devices. any clue? Update: soft reconfigure done with a fibaro relay switch, the difference is 11. Things are getting weird. Also here when I manually trigger scenes, activating/deactivating the device it all works.

Hi everyone, With this my first message in the forum, I'd like sharing an issue I'm having with my HCL Notification Center, it might be that someone already went through it and can support me. It seems that at some point my HCL 'crashed' while I was soft reconfiguring some of my devices, once the system was up again it went on reconfiguring the devices queued until it finished. My issue is now that it looks like the device the HCL was reconfiguring while it crashed appears as 'pending' to reconfigure in the Notifications center all the time, even if I click on the 'cancel' button, the message won't go away (see attached image). I also tried starting a new soft reconfiguration of this same device, which starts immediately after I initiate it and finishes all right, but this previous message remains there... It's rather annoying honestly speaking. Has anyone gone through this before? any ideas on how I can get rid of this message? Cheers, Sebastian

Hi. I have a fibaro HC Lite and have recently bought a Sonos Play:1. I would like to use the double click of my kitchen light switch to 'play' the speaker and then again to pause it.I've installed the plugin and have it working but I cannot see the device when in the graphical blocks scene builder, nor is it showing as a virtual device.I also tried to get the hcl virtual device to import but it just kept on saying doesn't support LUA code. Even though it was the specific home centre lite virtual device control plugin from the fibaro website.What am I doing wrong? Any advice would be greatly appreciated as I only bought the play:1 as it works with FibaroCheers,Steve

I am currently re building a house and I want to make it fully automated. I started using insteon and I have set up din rail dimmer modules to control my lights hoping to use it with apple home kit eventually ?. However I have decide to ditch all the equipment as this couldn't be done and re design using Fibaro. All I want to do is connect all my lights to z wave dimmer modules and I hope to use apple homekit to control my lights with SIRI and I would hope that my house will know when I am coming home and turn on scenes etc. I am about to buy Quibino Dimmer modules to replace my insteon dimmer modules ,which are about to go into the bin. Am I doing this correct or am I about to waste more money. How do I control the Quibino Dimmer modules with apple home kit ? or would it be easier just to buy a shed loads of PHILIPs HUE LED bulbs and ditch the whole thing ?? Please could someone provide some guidance

Amazon Echo Dot & HCL - Devices offline

I've activated both Fibaro skills last night and successfully linked the Echo to my Fibaro HCL. I was able to control all connected devices through Alexa. This morning Echo indicate that all my devices are offline even though my HCL is online and fully functional. I've disabled the Fibaro skill and reconnected again with no luck. Anyone have an idea how to get this fixed? -

Basically it does not work anymore but I can't work out why, I have other VD's that have stopped working but the Reboot one works fine

I am running a fairly simple setup with some 20 switches/dimmers and about 20 scenes, really nothing fancy. All hardware is Fibaro. The system is freezing or crashing continuously, works fine for a few hours and then stops. I have not been able to find the root cause. Not an expert, but worked professionally with software for 20 years... Have read about poor quality releases and many bugs, but is what I experience specific for me or rather normal?

Sending serial commands to Global Cache iTach Flex (RS232/RS485)

Hello guys, I ran into interesting problem. Honestly i do not know if problem is in Fibaro or Global Cache, so i need some help. Ticket in partners dedicated channel: #95470. I'm doing VD for a customer (Fibaro dealer) for control of Somfy RTS module (VD is below). But i'm able to receive only 8 comands, then it seems like connection get stucked. If i send commands from iTest (global cache app), that i am not a problem to receive more than 8 commands. If i send commands from Fibaro to PC directly (Hercules app can be set as TCP server), then i'm able receive more than 8 commands (Same port and protocol, just diffrent IP adress). I'm sending those serial commands (RS-232/RS-485) to my Laptop to application Hercules (Link below). Global Cache i'm using is iTach Flex IP. Cables connected are Flex Link RS-232 cable and Flex Link RS-485 cable. I tested it with both. Winter has gone and 30 degrees are back in town so time ago I stopped all scenes that control the heating system in the house. We are talking about 16 scenes changed from automatic to manual, but I did not stop the automatic daily restart scene. Immediately after that, the used RAM dropped from 99% to 80%. Now, looking at the RAM usage I can read numbers between 96 and 99% without implementing anything new. Yes it eats RAM, a lot, not known why, not possible to do anything about that. I read that people with FW 4.130 are less happy then 4.120 or 4.110 or xxxxx. Guys nothing changed, it's always the same story. Don't think that a new FW is totally rewritten from zero every time and in the correct way, it is just a bunch of extra coding squeezed inside the other rows of code. Hardware remains the same. Issues remain the same. Sad but true (cit.)

Hello there, Till i write ticket to support i want to ask a community. First of all customer has HCL, so please no lua. Jest received info from a customer that notifications does not work on his iPhone 7. Do you experience same issue or is it working for you? Customer has set some push messages in Notification panel. He set some push on device status change (device configuration) and made some scenes for it. Those scenes were starting manually. Maybe there is topic regarding that and if is, please point me to it. But i do not want to "necrofile" old dead topic.

I do intend to use the RGBW controller in a battery driven device to tell me some status info and to interact with the device, using the outputs of the RGBW. Connection to the device will be fully isolated. All inputs and outputs thru signal relays, to ensure a proper decoupling and level shifting without interference and especially to keep the GND properly separated. creating the 24VDC from the battery using a voltage regulator. When looking at the documentation, the thing I want to implement is like the schematics in figure 7 (http://manuals.fibaro.com/content/manuals/en/FGRGBWM-441/FGRGBWM-441-EN-A-v1.01.pdf), having 4 independent inputs and controlling outputs. I do not need any dimming functionality; it will be simply on and off all interaction with and from the RGBW with momentary contacts/relays. The outputs of the RGBW would drive a relay coil for a second or so to tell the device something (e.g. simulating a key press) What worries me in the figure is that the Green and Blue output are not connected. Is this just for simplification purpose in the figure or are these two outputs in this mode not usable? Anyone using a setup like this?

Please send me a screenshot of who is able to configure. not working please help

How can I write something to the event panel from a scene, which is only modifying global variables but not changing the state of a physical device? I do have scenes which now and then change the value of a global variable. To do this, I would like to have a text line in the event panel. SMS, e-mail or push works fine, but that is a total overkill and not needed for this. A simple entry in the event panel would be nice. any clue? thanks for tip and tricks. maybe another VD? but how should this be done?

I try to coverage a medium area but the relay and other zwave device don't have good coverage also with mesh network. I installed HC2 with HCL (master & slave) on many places on house but don't work properly, I think we need a better antenna. If I colocated the slave on one side of the house some device don't work also a few meter. The house was built with blocks (20 cms) with rock decoration the wall in some places, tempered glass, and steel girders.

Is it possible to have a scene or several scenes triggered after a restart of the HCL? I thought about a variable in the automatic restart scene and VD, but is there any other solution or possibility? So is there a trigger condition, which is only TRUE when the HCL is restarted? kuno

Hi everyone! I am going crazy from this, any help will be appreciated - I have a couple Fakro motorized blinds on my skylights and they come with their own remote that allows you to control them and also choose an automatic mode where they close based on sunlight levels. Fakro support told me that to keep this functionality after including them in the Fibaro system, I need to add the ZWP10 remote as a secondary and then associate it with the blinds. The trouble is: a) adding the remote fails on 4/5 attempts with "learning mode error" b) even if the remote is added without an error, it says it does not allow associations and tells me to reconfigure it c) reconfiguration gets stuck forever "waiting for battery device wakeup" (the manual for the remote does not tell you if it has a dedicated wakeup button, pressing any button including the IN/EX button does nothing) How to fix this? I am amazed that both these companies being Polish, the products work so poorly together - surely I am not the only one trying this. Anyone succeeded? Thanks!

Hello everybody, I have installed the temperature sensors to my already working system. I added the DS18B20 to the window and door sensors. So all the door and window sensors are configured and used in the HCL system Question is now, which reconfiguration is needed to get the sensors visible as active devices? Soft reconfigure device? I would prefer this one, so I do not loose all the scenes and VDs using the window sensor Reconfigure device? The brute force way, removing and adding the z-wave device? I hope this is not needed thanks for advice kuno -
Hi How many z-wave units can be used with HCL ? A Norwegian dealer says on their homepage: -If more than 20 units, we recomend the HC2.. Is this true ? I use HCL with 40 units and all sees to work good...

I am still testing around the usage of variables and tried the following simple thing. I do have a predefined variable having two values being ON and OFF. I do have a scene (automatic) which switches on a wall plug, when the variable is in its OFF status and sets the variable to ON. If variable=ON the "switch on" and set variable to ON nothing happens. Only when I restart HCL, the scene is triggered. When I then switch the variable to OFF in the variable panel, nothing happens. What I also noticed. when the variable is switched ON and I manually trigger the scene, the wall plug is switched ON, even the trigger condition of the variable being OFF is not fulfilled, how comes? this somehow makes the usage of variables as trigger conditions useless. anyone having a clue?

Mam problem w sumie już od tygodnia z tym walczę. Szukałem na forum ale nic nei znalazłem. Mam dwie sceny 1] KeyID:20 OFF-ON scena ściemnia na 20% 2] KeyID:21 ON-OFF rozjaśnia na 80%. (Sceny na blokach w załączniku) PROBLEM: Jak jedna uruchomię to sceny uruchamiają się raz jedna raz druga i tak w kolko. Tak jakby włączanie scen przez KeyID 20 i 21 w jakiś sposób nie działało. Starałem się dodać zmienną żeby na druga scena nie startowała od razu i dalej nic. Dodatkowe pytanie o co chodzi w IF (L.Dzieciecy-pilot == KeyId: 21 0s) na końcu jest 0s czy to znaczy że sprawdza warunek po x sekund ? A co z warunkiem po "i" jest wykonywany wcześniej niż pierwszy warunek !? PS. Jestem nowy proszę o wyrozumiałość nie wymagam od razu rozwiązania oczekuję raczej wskazania gdzie szukać rozwiązania.

I do have scenes for day and night as well as weekends, adjusting the temperature as needed. How would you set the temperature during summer, when the central heating is switched off to: minimize battery consumption? avoid unnecessary activation of the motor? all the way down to 'freezing protection' or all the way up as it will never get that warm and the valves are kept fully open (free flow) how have you solved the 'summer'? I am really wondering how you do this, removing the batteries can not really be the solution kuno

Lokalnie po Wi-Fi (i kablu PC) wszystko działa ok. (PC, Android - Tablet, Telefon). Po rejestracji i zalogowaniu na Fibaro ID wywala komunikat “Błędne Dane Centralki” (dane pobrane z zakładki konfiguracja). Jaka jest przyczyna? Dlaczego centralka jest niewidoczna?
