  1. I had two Zipato RFID Readers. Both died nearly at the same time So there is no other RFID Reader with Z-Wave support available. Because of this I had to use a "normal" one and connect it to my HC2. One disadvantage is that I won't know which PIN code or which RFID has been used during last login! Here is my description how I did set it up. Maybe others will need this information too or somebody else has some improvements (mostly according the Fibaro Smart Plant). I am pretty sure that @petergebruers has some improvements for me I did search in the web for any solutions but could not find anything useful. Most persons did ask how to wire it properly and did not come up with a working solution or some others explained that it is working...but not how why have done it. So what is needed: I am using the new Fibaro Smart Plant FGBS-222, any RFID/PIN/Fingerprint Codepanel and a power supply. You can use a normal one (between 6V and 24V) or a special one for the codepanel if a bell, door lock, additional switch or something else should be used also. I did connect power to the codepanel (DC+) and to the Fibrao Sensor (P, red wire) and ground with Fibaro (GND, blue wire) and twice with the codepanel (GND and COM). Also I did connect the alarm wire of the codepanel with IN2 (green wire) of the Fibaro module and the NO wire of the codepanel with IN1 (yellow wire) of the Fibaro module. (Later on I will do some drawing). To make this working you will have to change the settings of the Fibaro module. For me it was working by using the scene activation. For this I did set up input 1 and 2 as mono stable (I think this is parameter 20 and 21), did put HC2 in associative group 2, disabled the two output connections (you don't have to do this I think), enabled "Key pressing and holding" for Input 1 and 2 (alias parameter 40 and 41) and that's it. Than you will have to write two scenes. Both should react on the scene child module of the Fibaro Smart Implant for the action "Key [1|2] HeldDown". Key 1 will get triggered if somebody authenticated successfully and key 2 will get triggered if the alarm (e.g. somebody tries to open the case) goes on. My use case will be to open the garage door or open the cellar door by entering the proper ID or using the right RFID chip.
  2. Hi everyone, I'm sure many of you use your HC2 as an alarm system. I'm looking for a physical keypad and/or FRID device which is compatible and works with HC2 without any problems for access control. Please be so kind and let me know if you know about anything like this. Or else, please let me know how do you control your alarm, apart from smartphone apps and keyfob. I'm desperately looking for a working , tested solution on hardware and scenes. Any suggestions, ideas much appreciated! Thanks!
  3. Good morning to all! Since 1,5 years i use 2 Zipato Keypads for entrance control with the RFID Tags. Works great since 3 weeks. Now one Keypad makes problems with the RFID Tags: If i use a RFID Tag to register (Home/Away button an then hold the tag in fornt of the Keypad) nothing happens. There is no reaction/registration of the keypad. I include/exclude the Keypad several times from HC2 but this do not change anything. I can register the Tags to the keypad over API or LUA scene and afeter syncronisation i can see them in the avanced tab at PIN section. If i hold a unregisterd tag in front of the Keypad there is also no information in the Fibaro "window" (which normally will give the information about the code of the unregistered tag). A bit strange for me: The pin input works perfectly (registration/shown of unregistered pins,Home/Away Buttons,..) Do anyone can help me with this problem ? Is there a possibility to hardreset the Keypad (not including/excluding over Fibaro as this doesn't help) ? Or mayby is there a possibility to check if the RFID signal/reader is broken ? (As in germany the keypad is totally sold out in shops: Perhaps does anyone know a internetshop where i can order a new one?) Kind regards Sebastian

  5. Hello, I like to start a scene at every keypress on my Zipato Mini Keypad with RFiD Example: Zipato Away + PIN >>> Start scene Arm Zipato Home + TAG >>> Start scene DisArm Zipato Away + TAG >>> Start scene Arm Zipato Home + PIN >>> Start scene DisArm This works fine, no problem so far but if i'm also using my smartphone it doesn't work 1) Yesterday Alarm Disarmed by Zipato-Home-key + PIN 2) Today Alarm Armed by Smartphone 3) Today i try to disarm by Zipato-Home-key + TAG >>> NO TRIGGER Fibaro HC2 doesn't start a scene at step-3 because 'value' was not changed, for the system i pushed the home-key again (step 1 and 3) How do i trigger a scene with FIBARO LUA every time a key was pushed? ----------------------- Every key-press is send to Fibaro HC2 as it shows in the status screen [23:11:56] ID 299: locked by user 2 [23:24:50] ID 299: unlocked by user 2 [23:24:58] ID 299: locked by user 2 [23:25:25] ID 299: locked by user 2 [23:25:43] ID 299: locked by user 2 [23:25:54] ID 299: unlocked by user 2 [23:27:46] ID 299: locked by user 2 [23:27:52] ID 299: locked by user 3 [23:27:57] ID 299: unlocked by user 2 [23:31:03] ID 299: locked by user 2 [23:31:13] ID 299: unlocked by user 2 [23:47:04] ID 299: locked by user 1 [23:47:11] ID 299: unlocked by user 1 ----------------------- SCENE HEADER: --[[ %% properties 299 value %% events %% globals --]] Can somebody help?
  6. Hi All I have a question, I have set up the Zipato RFID Tagreader to arm sensors in HC2. That works fine, also the detection of intrusion work perfectly. Now do I understand it correctly that he only way to disarm the alarm is via the app or the website of HC2? I cannot do it by using the tag reader? thanks and cheers Don
  7. Hello, I have been trying forever to find a RFID tag reader to arm/disarm my HCL alarm. I purchased the BENEXT/Zipato RFID reader. Although it seems to get included and sends codes to the HCl,there is no way to arm/disarm the system with it. HAs anyone figured out how to do this. All I need is for the tag reader to function as an on/of switch.
  8. Since firmware 4.100 it says home center support the zipato RFID tag reader. - does this works with HCL? - does HCL alows u to use it in scenes to arm, disarm the house. - Can u add new users / tags ? anybody any experience ?
