  1. Hi, I've got a Fibaro D/W sensor (new Zwave+ version) to which I attached an external temperature sensor (the DS18B20: https://www.sossolutions.nl/waterproof-ds18b20-digital-temperature-sensor-extras?fee=4&fep=3315?utm_source=shopping&utm_medium=adwords&utm_term=Waterproof DS18B20 Digital temperature sensor + extras&utm_campaign=shopping&gclid=CMGR0-Xer9ECFZG6Gwodv0QPXw) It does measure the temperature rather well, but what's strange is that it fluctuates with a pattern. Attached images show what I mean. I heated the environment of which I measure the temperature. The temperature is gradually rising, but as you clearly see almost every 30 minutes or so (sometimes longer, sometimes shorter) the sensor gives me a temperature that's lower than expected. And what's strange about it is that this reported lower temperature is exactly the same for some hours and than suddenly rises to a new level that keeps constant for some hours. Does anyone has any idea how to solve this? regards, Theo
  2. Log the outside temperature (from the weather) so you can compare it on the consumption graphs with the inside temperatures. This way, you can analyse why the inside temperature suddenly droped or why on particular days your electrical heating consumption went up.
  3. Hi all, I'm trying to code a VD which allows me to read out temperature, humidity levels and weather type. Basically I have all working well now, but for the humidity and temperature I get the full string as output: Humidity: 81.000000000000000 Temperature: 6.0000000000000000 .. instead of getting the output with 0 decimals plus the special characters. I'd like to achieve two things: 1. limit the output to 0 decimals 2. add the percentage- and degree centigrade character behind the output I've searched the web and found there are multiple ways of doing this, but I can't get it work due to lack of knowledge on my side. Anyone who can help me out, please? To test you can use the below code to read out the HC values, which are being taken from the Yahoo Weather service: fibaro:getValue(3,"Temperature") and fibaro:getValue(3,"Humidity") Thanks and best regards, Mark
  4. Hi I am running a HC2 as my zwave controller. But i also has a vera Lite for my 433mhz devices via RFXtrx device. So what is the easiest way for me to fetch status from 433mhz devices. To start with i want to get the current temperature from several tempsensor and the luup variable for that, according to micasaverde, is: luup.variable_get("urn:upnp-org:serviceId:TemperatureSensor1", "CurrentTemperature", 5) But where do i go from here? How can i get it into my HC2? I want a virtual device updated every 15 minutes with the current temperature. and can i somehow make my HC2 think that my VD really is a temp sensor?
  5. Hi! For several weeks I own a HC2 and now I am playing around a little bit in my workshop trying to learn LUA and the whole Z-Wave thing. I noticed that the HC2 getts pretty warm, so I pimped it a little bit according to this (german) thread http://siio.de/board/thema/pimp-my-hc2 The HC2 is in a steelbox with slots for fresh air in top and bottom. I lifted up the two outer metal plates for about 5mm and removed the inner slot to get more air flow. Now the HC2 temp is about 12 °C higher than the environment temperature, but is IMHO still too high (~ 40°C -- temp. probe is locatet on top of HC2 - take a look at 1st picture) TOP: HC2 temperature TOP: temperature of environment Do you have similar experiences or maybe a solution ? Any suggestions are appreciated
  6. Which lua code do I use within a VD label to display a temperature from a multisensor from fibaro or aeon ?
  7. Any idea why my Fibaro PIR is reporting it to be -17.78c when the room next door has Fibaro PIR showing it to be 20.80c????? I am still running 4.048 still but as there are no fixes in 4.049 that would benefit me, I am not going to upgrade.. Could this be sign that the battery is dying or something else. The Lux level seems to be right so not sure why temp is wrong??
  8. Hi, i'm trying to create a block scene with my Remotec ZXT-120. I set some time schedules but i can't set temperature, mode and fan option into the device It's a bug? Regards
  9. Hi, i'm glad about the new compatibility between HC2 and Remotec ZXT-120 and now i'm trying to test it with Linked Devices, Heating and AC panels. In the Linked Devices - > Air Conditioning configuration I add my Remotec temperature sensor in Main Device option and i'd like to put my Remotec control in "1 Switch" device . It would be helpful to have at least the ability to add a virtual device with 2 buttons on / off that can control my Remotec through the panel but there's no way to add virtual devices. How can i solve it? Regards
  10. Greetings! A bit of newbie question with what I think should be a simple scene on HCL (NO LUA or magic scene). Purpose: use exhaust fan (plug1) to control temperature range (T1 - temperature sensor) in a room (23-25c range for example) I am trying to use the block building interface in the HCL but no indepth manual and most examples I find on google are not in English. I have some ideas but mainly when a temperature limit is reached then a plug is actuated for a set period of time (say a 5 minutes) and then it either runs for that period of time and stops or checks for lower range limit having been reached? Am I making this too complicated? Sorry not much explanations in manuals on how to set up. Thanks!! I composed a screenshot of my scene (or do I need 2 - for on and off?) Many thanks! PS pointing to a learning resource for simple scenes in HCL would help (English non Lua plz))
  11. Hello, this morning I've got an email from Fibaro saying that a potential fire has been detected in the boiler room, luckily I was at home an I was able to check and now fire found I've checked the temperature graph in the web admin (I think we really need it in the mobile one too) and the result is in the attached file. It says the temperature arrived almost to 18k degrees (that's not just "a fire" LOL)... This is the first time it happened to me, did it happen to someone else too? The value seems fine now... Let me know your thoughts... Thanks, Dem
