  1. Hey all, I'm planning to buy Dimmer 2 to control spotlights in my kitchen. I've asked in a local Fibaro store for an advice on how the whole light installation should look like to allow Dimmer 2 to switch on/off and dim the lights. The guy said I would need to use 230V powered lights (at least that's how I understood it) - so GU10 in that case, and the use of a transformer in the circut might be a problem for Dimmer. The case is that I would like to have AR111 lights and there's much more choice in the market for ones with G53 socket rather than GU10 - in fact most AR/ES111 GU10 offer more than 15W+, while I would like to keep it around 10W each bulb. The question then is - do you have any experiance connecting 12V bulbs + transformer with Dimmer 2? Is it really a problem? or it just requires to use a specific transformer to work? Any tips are greatly appreciated. Attached some pictures on how I believe they would like it to be and how I would like it to work. PS. I'm no electrician, so forgive me if it's missing anything important. Thanks in advance!
  2. Dimmer 2 fails to control my MLV LED Driver. I only get the constant red menu light. I cycled through the menu and reset the device. When at the blue light, I let it autocalibrate, but it always results in a constant red. My driver is the Magnitude M150L24DC-AR. It is an MLV Triac magnetic transformer that is 150W capable, but is not driving more than 110W in my appliaction. Is there a compatibility problem with Dimmer 2 and this driver? Thank you, bfb Here is the specifications for the driver: Driver Specifications Max Load 150W Input Voltage 120V AC Input Current Full Load 1.95 A Output Voltage Full Load 23.1V DC Max Output Current Full Load 6.5 A Open Circuit Output Voltage 25.6V DC Power Factor 0.93 Avg. 3. Hi guys! I hope wasn´t simply blind by searching something what fits my question. Anyway, nothing found. Question: Is it possible to connect more than one electronic transformer for LEDs to the dimmer 2? The manual says no but without any explanation why. Unfortunately I have a very strange wiring in the bathroom which is not really accessible. The only access is through the holes for LEDs and their transformers but there is not chance to change the wiring to connect all the LEDs to the same transformer. There are three transformers for three LED groups (3 LEDs per group). Sounds crazy but wasnt done by me and I have to handle it now. I´d like to replace the not dimmable by dimmable transformers (all three are same model). Is there a chance that it will work? Did somebody already try to connect more than one transformer to the dimmer 2? The manual of the Qubino dimmer doesn´t say anything about a problem with more than one transformer while it doesn´t say anything about multiple transformers at all. Thanks for help. Alex
