I've been using my Venetian blinds for a few years with just the buttons, but now decided to automate them, so I bought a Roller Shutter 3 (FGR-223 with firmware 5.1). However, I found out that by adding the FGR223 between the buttons and the Venetian blinds the working of the buttons has completely changed. The problem is: Without the FGR223, if I wanted to move the blinds up or down, I had to press and hold the down switch, until the blinds were down. Same for up. With the FGR223, I just have give a short pulse on the switch to move the blinds completely up or down. So far, it looks like an improvement. However, we also used to control the angle of the slats by short pulsing the physical switches. These short pulses are now interpreted as a command to completely move the blinds up or down, making controlling the angle of the slats with the physical switches impossible. (= very negative WAF ) So the question is: does anybody know how to control the angle of the slats with the physical buttons with a Fibaro Roller Shutter? (The FGR223 is connected to Domoticz on a Raspberry Pi via zwave-js-ui and mosquitto, but I do not think that that has anything to do with this problem, since the behavior is the same with and without a zwave controller in the network). -
Hi! I would like to use "Roller Shutter 3" to control a number venetian blinds. However, before I buy I have questions. Background: Today each blind is controlled by two dump momentary switches (up/down). To move up or down the button is held for a looong time (up to e.g. 60 seconds). To adjust the angle of the slats the button is held for somewhere between 0.1 and 2 seconds, depending on how much rotation is wanted. Questions: The "Roller Shutter 3"´manual says: "hold switch – initiate slats rotation up/down". How is the slats rotation stopped? How does one use the momentary switches to tell the "Roller Shutter 3" to power the blind motor for e.g. just 0.1 second in order to achieve a small rotation of the slats? Hope someone can help. Hi, Here's a problem I can't get fixed. I installed an EVB (external venetian blind) and want to control it with the fibaro roller shutter module. I followed the instructions (and double checked them), but I can not rotate the slats. The only thing I can do is open and close completely (and stop and an intermediate position. Rotating slats is not possible. Does anyone has any experience with this issue ? Thanks in advance, Gunter Settings : Device EVB with positioning parameter 3 = 1 parameter 10 = 2 parameter 13 = 1
