While working from home for eight months now I had the need to toggle a light or run a scene from my Windows 10 laptop. After some Google I didn't find an app so I decided to learn basic C# and create a Windows tray application myself. The application loads your configured rooms, devices and scenes from your HC2/HC3 and puts them in a menu in the system tray. Now you can run a scene or toggle a light switch without reaching for a wall switch or your phone. ? The program looks like this: I Iearn and get a lot from the Fibaro community, therefore I made the code open source on GitHub. You can download the application from the releases page. You only need the .exe file. I don't own a HC3. If it also works on the HC3 please inform me. Than I add it to the documentation.

What I mostly do is taking a picture of the device / room and turn them into an icon. Just added some examples all based on photo's items in around my home. -
wouldn't it be great to have a windows app working similarly like the mobile apps? when working on a computer it would be really nice not to have to reacht for the mobile phone or log onto HC in a browser. as an addition, or even instead of such a software a really nice effect would be links on the windows desktop to start scenes / switch devices on/off. Wouldn't this also be a relevant and nice idea for homescreens on android smartphones?

Fibaro door/windows sensor don't work after battery changing

Hi, I have problems with door/windows sensor every time I need to change the battery... I change the battery with the magnet off (door/window open), some times is OK some time I need to try to exclude and include again more times before everything work well. This time, for one sensor I wait 2 month before to change the battery starting from the Fibaro messages and now I've tried to change but the sensor doesn't work. The other times as soon I put inside new battery the led was lighting, but this time nothing happen. I've try to check the new battery status and is 3,68V (I have 5 new batteries) and I also tried to use a battery from another working sensor but still nothing happen. I've try to follow the sensor reset procedure, but still nothing happen. This door/windows sensor have also the temperature module DS18B20. Any suggestion?
