  1. Hi, I have 3 The Heat Controllers - 2 seem to be working fine. One, however, is not responding to commands sent from the Fibaro UI (mobile or web) and also manual changes are not having an effect. From time to time I get "Motor Failure" messages: Error occured - possible motor failure of thermostatic head. I have performed the following troubleshooting: Put the device in standby Removed the device, making sure it was properly installed Removed from z-wave network Performed Factory Reset Re-added to the network When performing the standby mode, the motor was activated (it made noise). However whatever I do, the motor is not activated and I get the above error messages. What would be the best way to troubleshoot this? Is this device just dead and should I return it? Running FW 4.3. Thanks in advance! Kristof
  2. Hi there, I have HC3 and band new Walli Controller which I want to add it as secure. I need to control FIBARO Double Switch 2 which is in secure mode already. Every time I try to add the Walli Controller, it adds the device to HC3 and the Walli Controller lights up as green. According to manual, it should light up as magenta when it was added as secure device and green in non secure mode. I tried this numerous times and I also tried to hold the Walli Controller 3-5 cm from the HC3, but no success. Any ideas?

  4. Hey Just bought my first pack. Konsisten of fibaro dimmers and the aeotech wallmote 4 zones controller Have got the contoller up working for basic on\off switch. The wallmote also have swipe function. How does i enable that to get the swipe to work on dim up or down?
  5. I have been wondering. Which remote to use as remote controller with Fibaro. And i do not mean Z-Wave stuff, like Swipe, Keyfobs, ... I know there is Harmony, but i do know it very little. But is there any other "smart" remote? Also i don't mean remote control if i integrate Fibaro under other systems, like Control4, Crestron or RTI. I found that interesting: https://sevenhugs.com/ @I.Srodka, do you have some info about sevenhugs remote?
  6. Multiroom Heating Controller My project was to write a multiroom heating controller to give indipendant control over each room using as much as the built in functionality of Home Center 2 as possible. Starting point: Create multiple rooms in the heating panel in accordance with the Advanced User Guide section 5.9.3 I did have some code to enumerate from these panels and get the following from the JSON files http://yourHC2IPAddress/api/panels/heating & http://yourHC2IPAddress/api/rooms Room Name, Room "Default Thermostat" & Default Temperature Sensor As I failed to add them to my array roomsArray I abandoned this for the time being. (Any developers want to help here??? You add your rooms to the roomsArray, set the HeatON and HeatOff as you need them these will stop overshoot of Temperature. - Any developers want to turn this in to a heating PID? I have been running this now for a couple of months without problem, and even moved it to other HC2 controllers. Make a LUA Scene, drope the code in, change the Variables and away you go. My setup and all I have tested with: HC2 v 4.1x Danfoss LC-13 TRVs these control the radiators and also act as a Thermostat for any room that does not have a external Thermostat Fibaro or AEON Multisensor for Temperature Sensor Secure SRT321 Wall thermostat & Secure HRT boiler Receiver - This was so i could put in manual mode if anything went wrong Happy to have suggeestions and additions! 7. Imagine you have set up a house with hundred modules and one HC2 over the last year. About two third of your modules are clued/sticked to their place (like most of the door/window sensors that are available). To exclude/include them to your controller they must be in direct close range to it. So you will have to remove them from their place by destroying the clue most likely. Is there any better and easier way to reinclude these devices without buying 100m power cable and 100m network cable moving the HC2 controller from module to module? Is it possible to use another modules with controller capabilities that is battery operated to do the ex/-include job? Once I had to reinclude some window door sensors and I have hated it to detach them from their position and reattach them. In some cases they did not stick as well as before and tamper alarm went on or the sensor did not show the right status after a couple of days.
  8. Hi All, Has anyone played with the GE 45631 Zwave controller keypad? I like the look of this as an easy on the wall button for turning on and off LED scenes in my back yard. All the LED's are RGBW Fibaro controllers with some LUA code kindly provided by someone on this forum to make one of the FG RGBWs the Master and 4 others slaves. So if this keypad can be made to turn on and off the Master hey presto! I have a single button on the wall outside with no hard wires to the FG RGBW master puck. Well thats the theory - what say ye all..am I dream'n or?
