Siren Gen5 in HC3
pnutp0wer posted a question in Home Center 3Hello, Does anyone already re-made the QuickApp for Siren Gen5? I want to use the different sounds of the Siren like in the HC2 with the VD.
Zwave plus UPDATE
Guest posted a question in Motion SensorI bought a Fibaro motion sensor zwave plus. (looks very cool btw I tought your controller has to support that protocol. By trying out that sensor i saw a big improvement in range. None of my devices are reaching that far as the motionsensor does. I tried it out and they all fail to connect to HC but this motionsensor zwaveplus works like a charm at that distance. I've been reading an article from mr. @T.Konopka about the difference between zwaveplus and next Gen5 zwavechip. So..what is the truth behind this ? UPDATE !! So to be sure about this today i bought a zwaveplus wall plug and yes also here a big improvement in range....covers my whole house Happy !! I got a feeling that i'm telling here the same as WWII is over ?? Am I ?
Is the HC2 Z-Wave Plus / gen5 compatible?
makuser posted a question in Home Center 2I know the HC2 can include gen5 devices, since they themselves are downwards compatible. But can the HC2 itself act as Z-Wave Plus controller and thereby use all new functions introduced with Z-Wave Plus? Will that be possible with a firmware update for the Z-Wave RF module, that's integrated into the HC2?
4.032, Aeon Labs Recessed door sensor (gen 5)
flatsurface posted a question in Other Devices / Third-party devicesHi, I'm using a Home Center 2 running firmware version 4.032. I recently purchased Aeon Labs Recessed door sensor (gen 5). After adding the sensor to the system it has no parameter template, but it does work during its initial wakeup time. When the sensors exits the wakeup time nothing is communicated back to the system on open/close until it is woken up again. I found the parameters needed online and tried adding them without any success. I've also tried deleting and adding the sensor many times. Is the sensor working for anyone here? Regards flatsurface
