  1. Hi, With many wifi enabled devices about. Anyone able to help out? Trying to use the HCL to POST or GET in a virtual device. Obviously a scene we cant do. https://maker.ifttt.com/trigger/{event}/with/key/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx I am too lazy to read the manual. Thanks
  2. I find the documentation on network programming in LUA not very elaborate so I put a question here. From my HC2 I want to send a HEX string to a (wifi connected) device in my network and I want to receive a HEX string from the same device. so I start with opening a session to the device with IP and port as shown in the code and next I try to send a 0x07 to the device local WHR = Net.FHttp("172.17.1.221", 8899); res, status, errorCode = WHR:PUT('0x07'); but this results in an error message. Can anybody give me some hints on network programming on the HC2 in VD's of direct me to useful documentation. thanks
  3. Good Morning Guys, I need to create a Virtual Device in order to enable/disable some functionality of my devices. Shortly in need to extract the XML, modify a tag value, re-upload the xml. I have understood that using "Net.FHttp" and GET/PUT command im able to RETRIEVE and PUT the XML.... Example: response,status,errorcode = device:GET('URL') Example: response,status,errorcode = device:PUT('URL',XML) But how the entire process can be writed in LUA? 1) How to store in a variable the entire XML extracted using teh GET command? 2) How to replace the xml tag parameter ? ex. from enable to disable 3) How to re-upload the modified XML? Thanks in advnace Regards Gianluca
  4. Morning all! i am looking to send a plain text command from Fibaro into other systems; however I am struggling getting the command to send. From my understanding you cannot put the username/password in the string that is inside the 'Virtual Device' button. The command I want to send from a VD button is - http://Username:[email protected]:50000/dev/sps/HallLight/Pulse It works using web browsers and applications like Postman. Any ideas?
  5. local daysoftheweek={"Söndag","Måndag","Tisdag","Onsdag","Torsdag","Fredag","Lördag"} local day = urlencode(daysoftheweek[os.date("*t").wday-1]) function urlencode(str) if (str) then str = string.gsub (str, "\n", "\r\n") str = string.gsub (str, "([^%w ])", function (c) return string.format ("%%%02X", string.byte(c)) end) str = string.gsub (str, " ", "+") end return str end function MM(data) local function getMethod(requestUrl, successCallback, errorCallback) local http = net.HTTPClient() http:request(requestUrl, { options = { method = 'GET', headers = { }, }, success = successCallback, error = errorCallback }) end local url = 'http://192.168.0.137:8080/syslog?type=INFO&message='..data getMethod(url, function(resp) print(resp.data) end, function(err) print('error' .. err) end ) end MM(day..'+'..fibaro:getGlobal("yeasterdayKW")..'+'..'kWh') Result [DEBUG] 14:13:32: {"status":"success","payload":{"type":"INFO","message":"Söndag 34.96 kWh","timestamp":"2016-10-10T12:13:32.103Z"}} Should be [DEBUG] 14:13:32: {"status":"success","payload":{"type":"INFO","message":"Söndag 34.96 kWh","timestamp":"2016-10-10T12:13:32.103Z"}} so i think my header with utf8 is not correct. If i run url direct in browser it works with same data
  6. Hi folks, A bit of a puzzler I'm hoping that some of our http/api specialist might be able to offer some advice I'm working with openremote and at it's heart are http calls to the HC2 api I have a GET request working but when I try and create a POST request in a similar manner it doesn't seem to work (both work in a browser) Are their some special conditions/setting that a POST must have that a GET doesn't GET - http://192.168.1.90:80/api/devices/92 POST - http://192.168.1.90:80/api/callAction?deviceID=92&name=setValue&arg1=55 I spent a day on this - all suggestions welcome......
