  2. I'm not sure how important it is, but I jump into this hole "lastWorkingRoute and neighborList shemas are changed from HC2 to HC3 HC2 /api/devices/id produces JSON wtih following: "lastWorkingRoute": "[1,422,59]" HC3 /api/devices/ID produces a bit changed JSON: "lastWorkingRoute": [1,422,59] What is difference - HC2 gives me string representation of array but HC3 gives me array. For developer perspective this is quite big difference (agree - important only for tech apps) Is there SOMEWHERE some kind of DOCUMENTATION of that kind things, changes, schemas Both HC2 /docs and and HC3 swagger lack several important interfaces like /api/energy and /api/temperature why they are hidden or where to find SOME kind of reference
  3. Hello, I have just installed a AirSend box. With the AirSend you can send Operate all devices with a 433Mhz protocol like gates, blinds, garage doors etc. After installation you can operate your devices by the use of their APP , a cloud application or by just open a website (for every device/command a different) I have been trying to do this from my HC2 but even with the use of many examples i have found I didn't succeed to get it to work. Has anyone already interfaced with the AirSend. A typic webcall would look like "https://airsend.cloud/device/16199/command/4/?session=ddf1352a983e717fcee0c8c4fe78289c2a19c8e5a2786be77868fd15f41017653bfe55dfce2b47d90487d3f0d2eeb4b16fba053b139f91071444e1d8cb821de7" There is also an other way of interfacing through a API (https://airsend.cloud/api-docs) I don't know what the better option would be. Any one can give some help please

    UI Updates

Hi guys, do you plan to migrate the UI of HC2 to something similar to HC3 soon?
  5. After having done a few scenes (LUA scripts) I am a little confused by some of the options offered by the HC2 interface. Here are three examples: 1. The overview Some of this is obvious, like the scene name and the number of instances currently running. But why do the last two scenes, both running, show different run/stop buttons? And what does the on/off slider signify? I have successfully started scene 3, even though it shows "off". I have also tried to set it to "on", but it goes back to "off". Question: How are these two buttons, on/off and run/stop to be interpreted and used? 2. The detailed view This view raises several questions: Category: Is this category ever used for anything? Max running instances: In my LUA scripts I normally include tests like this: if fibaro:countScenes() > 1 then ... to abort the script if more than one is running. Does that make this number insignificant? Run scene Manual/Automatic: The trigger in the LUA script (or a lack of trigger) dictates how the scene is started. For a standard manual script without trigger, what difference does the man/auto setting make? And for a script with %%autostart is it necessary to set the Run scene selector to Automatic as well? Do not allow alarm...: My interpretation is that all scenes that are alarm related should check this box, all other scenes should not. By alarm related, I mean scenes that are triggered by an alarm. Is this good practice?
  6. Testing my first and very simple scene raised some elementary questions which I am sure some of can answer. The scene simply is "if smoke alarm is activated/breached, then switch off relay after 10 sec". Here is the block scene: Røykvarsler = smoke alarm Komfyrvakt rele = relay switch And here are my questions: 1. In the setup, shown below, there is a check box for "Do not allow alarm to stop scene...". There is a warning to avoid checking this box. In my case it seems logical that the scene is NOT stopped by an alarm, as the trigger itself is an alarm. Do you agree? When do you actually tick this box? For all alarm related scenes? 2. The scene is set to be "automatic". Is this sufficient, or should the box "Start when HC2 starts" be ticked as well, as I have done above? What is the difference between ticked and open in this box for an automatic scene? 3. In the main interface, the scene appears with its own icon and small panel: I assume the on/off slider to indicate whether the automatic scene is active or disabled? What about the "play" button below? When I push it, the relay switches off. Does that mean that the play button activates the "THEN statement" (here: switch off relay) regardless of trigger status? Feel free to give your opinion on any or all of my questions. I am just starting my scenes projects and need to learn more.
  7. Hi, I'm still searching for a platform to create a custom UI to bring together the separate parts of my system. I came across this company and a new low cost product called the Centro-8M (GBP £149 + carriage) It looks very good but I was wondering is anybody had experience with either demopad of their new 8M controller Platform - http://www.demopad.com/index.php Controller - http://www.demopad.com/centro8m.php Some articles - http://www.insideci.co.uk/news/demopad-announces-centro-8m-mini-controller.aspx - http://ce-pro.eu/2016/09/centro-8m-set-revolutionise-demopad-functionality/ Thanks frank
  8. Hello! Yesterday a new article was published in our Knowledge Base: FIBARO Intercom in FIBARO Home Center Interface The article presents how to connect the FIBARO Intercom with our Home Center and general interface appearance. I think it's quite informative article and it's worth reading it : )
  9. Hi, I'd like to pass a message to the Fibaro team behind the iOS app: Could you please make the home screen a little more configurable? My initial idea was to mount an Ipad in the kitchen and use it as control panel for my system. But it turns out that with only 6 positons where I can add my own devices, scenes etc it is too limited and not very useful. The screen usage looks as follows (approximately): Application header : 13% Weather information : 29% Energy graph : 6% 6 configurable blocks : 28% Footer : 13% Empty space : 13% Why do I only get to control 28% of the screen? I know what the weather is like, I can just look out the window and see. Why does the weather info have to take up 29% of the surface? And what If I want to use my own sensors for outside data? Then I need to use the configrable blocks for that, which consumes valuable space. I can understand that there has to be a navigation header and possibly footer as well, but the rest of the space, 75%, should be mine to configure as I like. One device/block takes up approx 5% of the screen space so if I could control 75%, it would mean I could put as many as 15 devices or information sources on the screen. Now, that would make the app relevant as a control panel. A development I would welcome as well is if you could make the app look a little more like an modern iOS app, or an Android app for that matter, by removing some of the graphic filler and make it simpler. Even if I think the current user interface is quite good looking, a clean and not so graphically heavy interface is still easier to use and hence preferable in my view. Kind regards P

    Webinterface

Sometimes some code seems not working, because the webinterface (at least with Firefox, Edge, or Chrome) doesn't update the values; for example using Sankotronic's Sunrise & Sunset, or similar code. Then a common user is looking for fault in the code, but after refreshing the page in the browser, everything seems to work right. This is very, very ANNOYING, Fibaro! The web interface gets often stuck, it seems to be written by a ten years old boy.... I Certainly hope this will change soon, because it's delaying the coding and development.
  11. Hello Fibaro community, i have had enough of browsers not working so lets see if we can find anny data for Fibaro that they could use to make PC/Laptop/etc. interface operable smoother. now since i do not know what could be causing it i require little bit of guidance from more tech savy people, but please do post your methods of using Fibaro in browsers. I generaly tend to use Firefox currently 49.0.2 but these issues did crop up in previous updates. i tend to open at least 2 tabs on same unit (adding a device and device list for example), this expands to 3 and less frequently 4 (whenever i forget i have devicelist allready open). With this in mind i do offten ad or remove devices so i do refresh alot. Browser is usually stable for oh 3ish hours never more than 4. Ocasionaly i am on multiple units in same Browser. only using basic plugins: Lastpass and on demmand Jawa. whenever i do clear cache in FF it never goes below 351KB, i have had Fibaro fail to show adding/removing device window on as little as 384KB. (internet) Edge(-splorer) and IE both work fairly fine but i rarely use them (only get to use edge when FF goes to full on unusable mode and IE when even edge wont work. My race instances with those broowsers ammount to next to no usefull info. only that edge dose tend to offten work when FF dosent, not allways but offten enough to justify edge's existence on this computer. Based upon my heavy Firefox centric data i would assume that either: Fibaro dose not collect some of its cached data fast enough or it dose not allow revrite of those data with updated verssion. Anny ideas and use styles that you think could help Fibaro determine what is going on in the damned browser's cache are wellcomed here. (sorry for posting it here but i am not quite sure where to put this post)
  12. The slider for a multilevel output (ie: dimmer) should scale based on the minimum and maximum levels setup in the parameters for the device. Example: Minimum device output level set to 20% Maximum device output level set to 70% Slider 0% = 20% output Slider 50% = 45% output Slider 100% = 70% output As of v4.082 the slider is set to the actual output %. This makes devices with a narrow min/max range hard to control.
  13. Hello! I would like to know which char/fontset is used for displaying text in a virtual device? Some of the symbols I use are displayed properly some are not, especially in the android application: local grafik = "▄■▀■▄____▄▄▄▄■▀" mobile APP: webapplication: Is it also possible to change the color of the text? The string.format code does not work... fibaro:debug(string.format('<%s style="color:%s;">%s</%s>', "span", color, message, "span")); Thank's for help
