Steinel outdoor light l810 Z-wave with hc2
Adriaan75 posted a question in Other Devices / Third-party devices
Has anybody experience with steinel outdoor light l810 z-wave. Is there a template available? it’s a very good outdoor light with many sensors! -
Does anybody else have a "Philio PSP05" outdoor motion sensor and did it get working? After a couple of tries I got it included successfully (and if I press the intern wakeup button I can see the it is updating the status). But there is no motion registered. The sensor itself blinks red while registering motion and in the Fibaro Logs I can see that z-Wave chip does get know of this state change. But the motion event is not triggered at all. 1 17:48:09:7 [Information] CMD_FACTORY: devId: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 >> handler cmd class: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC 1 17:48:09:7 [Information] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> CmdClass: Handler Basic 1 17:48:09:7 [Notice] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> Received command: BASIC_SET: [value=255] 1 17:48:09:7 [Notice] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> GENERIC TYPE: 0x7 SPECIFIC TYPE: 0x1 1 17:48:09:7 [Information] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> not found mapping basic cmd class set default 1 17:48:09:7 [Notice] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> forward cmd class to: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC 1 17:48:09:7 [Information] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> CmdClass: Handler Basic Mapping 1 17:48:09:7 [Information] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> BASIC_SET received - it will be handled as BASIC_REPORT command 1 17:48:09:7 [Information] CMD: devID: 1350 nID: 95 eID: 0 CC: COMMAND_CLASS_BASIC >> BASIC_REPORT: 255 5 17:48:09:7 [Notice] EVENT: updateProperty: value devId: 1350 value: 255

Hi all, I'm looking for the best options for outdoor LED coloured spots / lights for use with HC2. Not looking at LED strips, specifically spots that can be directed at things such as buildings / plants. One option I found (at least available here in the Netherlands) are lights by a company called MiLight. However, they are controlled by their own controllers (wifi, wall mounted, app on phone, etc.) and to get them to work with HC2 seems a bit antiquated (opening of boxes, re-soldering, etc.) which I'm hoping to avoid. Any suggestions?

I know the spec is 0 to +35 but have anyone tried to mount it outside? My plan is to mount two (in the power outlet housing) of them to control the heater in the car (engine+inside of car) to eliminate external timers. Anyone got an easy and wife friendly solution to setting the time of departure (My plan is to adjust the run time of the heater based to outside temp.)

Please make a device, possible to mount outdoor to read when day changes to night. Either a fixed signal, or a lux-readout. It is very handy if you live somewhere , where it is 24 hrs daylight in summer and 5 hrs in winter. It would be useful to turn on-off light indoors. I know the sun up-down function, but an actual sensor would take into accounr clear skies or clouded day . It needs to be rugged!

looking for outdoor motion sensor recommendation
AutoFrank posted a question in Other Devices / Third-party devices
Hi, I'm looking for a recommendation for a reliable outdoor motion sensor I have 2 everspring SP103 units and since batteries don't like the cold, I'm running them on an external 5v supply but they are very unreliable. I've tried to set the parameter to "not sleep" but no luck. Does anybody know of a mains powered outdoor zwave sensor ( so it doesn't go to sleep like a battery one) or one that can be powered from a USB port like the (aeotec multisensor - 2015) Is the aeotec multisensor reliable or does anybody have some other suggestions .. or perhaps I'm just not using the SP103 correctly Thanks -F
