View Ipcam from iPhone application in remote connection

Guest aemme2005

Question

Guest aemme2005

Good Morning,

I have installed last week-end the Home Center 2 in my home; firmware version 1.027 (the last version).

I have added an Ipcam Foscam and I can regularly view the images on my iPhone application (the last version on Appstore) if connected in WIFI into my domestic LAN.

In remote mode I can regularly operate on my lights, dimmers, and others devices but I can't view my Ipcam.

Is this a bug (and you thing will be resolved in the next software upgrade) or this function is not available in remote connection?

Many thanks for your answer.

    Hi Alberto,

The only thing that I can think of that would stop the remote access is the user settings on the actual camera configuration (not HC2)

I have Foscam FI8918W and mine works perfectly

  • Thanks for answers; I try to connect with 3G connection and I see a white screen.

I don't know if depend of slow 3g connection...

With 3g connection I can see the ipcam with other application on my iPhone using ddns server.

    Dear Sir!

When it works ok in local access probably You have problem with the JPG Path from camera.

Please go to the advanced settings, and check the JPG Path Parameter. Please compare this path with product manual. Maybe there is some mistake.

JPG Path is used in the remote access, MJPG is used in the local.
