Garage Door Control

JohnnyC

Question

Has anyone connected a Fibaro module to a garage door opener? There is an option to include dimmers as a control for garage doors when selecting the device but I would like to know if someone has successfully done this as my garage door is controlled by one press switch (monostable).

Dear Sir!

There are several ways to control You garage motor via fibaro system. It depends of type of garage motor and system. The most popular way is to control from 2x1,5kW relay Switch module garage controller, or to plug into wall switch from garage motor. It depends of Your instalation.

On some garage doors you have some extra terminals in the connectionbox for example a keyswitch or intercomswitch etc. Use those terminals, so you keep the internal functionallity intact and the door operates save.
